Yes, me too. Eating and sleeping, unlike Raven...

Good point. I think we can safely assume Ravenstein is some kind of super AI game character.

Sort of. I think the main difference is that the character sheets are (mostly) included in the base of the miniatures, adjustable with little click-dials, hence the "clix".

Never played HeroClix, but I did collect the MechWarrior: Dark Ages minis for a little while.

Oh! I do recall seeing something of that sorts in a workshop. Sorry I didn't get the "Clix" reference.

Some of you guys played CoH right? I seem to remember getting a set of Heroes and Villains miniatures when I got my boxes of CoH and CoV. It was so long ago I can't remember if I bought the collectors edition or not.

A bit more news has crept out on the HCRealms forum.

There'll be two games. One will be a collectible miniatures game packaged like Heroclix, but with spaceships. (And thus incompatible with the other Clix games).

There's also going to be a self-contained co-operative board game, using Clix elements. Up to four players would play crew members attempting to complete missions together. This will also be incompatible with the other Clix games.

I was kinda holding out hope on there being a Gowron figure. The worse the paint job they do on his eyes, the more realistic it'd look.

I've heard of Heroclix, but i have misgivings. To make this accurate, you would need immortality for Spock, Kirk and Wesley. Maybe even Scotty. He was dead once yet. How do you figger out the stats for the character who always pull a "Parthenogenic Particle whatchimacallit" out of his *&$#TRIBBLE.

I however DO play Heroclix and look forward to this! XD Unfortunately, while they said they'd eventually use stuff from tv/older films, the first set is Abrams Trek! Boo! XP

P.S.: They better add Klinks, Gorn, Nausicaans and Rommies to the game dangit! Those are my favorite races! XP

P.P.S.: More direct linky. They lead to the two sets due out late fall.

    Oh what?

Did they even finish reviving heroclix yet?

Wizkids needs to spend more time reworking and balancing their existing products then just launching something 'new' and yet the same, every 6 months or so.

I wonder if this will get as mishandled and go as haphazardly as the mechwarrior line.

You forget, NECA is running them now, which was known for good quality action figures and the like (My fav done by them is the "Sin City: Marv" one in a electric chair. XP). And where I am, Heroclix does rather well. Mage Knight, Horrorclix, etc..meh not so much. Of course, I'd probably get them anyway just to put them on display even if they didn't work out. X( SF Battles ring a bell?

That's easy, give them the "KO" clicks used in heroclix instead of the dead "skull" clicks used in Mage Knight, Horror Clix, etc. "Wha, they're not dead, just taking a nap. XP"

Sadly, even this will not wash the taint of butchering my beloved BattleTech into their ClickyTech "Dark Age" [expletive deleted]. I mean, if you piled up all the [blankitty blank-blank] from that [expurgated version], it'd be bigger than a [without the gannet] Atlas! (No, I didn't like that game. Why do you ask?) Though, to be fair, I'm certain there are many BattleTech fans who were introduced to the universe via ClickyTech...

*sigh* And at least I can take heart from the fact that the franchise is back in the original hands...

Indeed, I will never forgive Wizkids for what they did to Battletech.

I don't expect them to be on the long run with their ST game, I more believe they want to grap some fast cash with it. Beside I don't expect good quality or rules for the game either.

You mean the thread about the story about a company offering "uber strategic hexahedron monster combat mayhem" getting a liscense to make ST games is back from the dead?
