I have bought several accounts for me and my family and yet I must TRIBBLE around with them in order to activate them because I can not use the same email account. What is the deal?
No one can answer this simple question? Why must I have a different email account it is one thing if I could just tell it to take the dang thing but it prevents me from activating the account until a new account is set up otherwise I have to in game petition to have it moved.

This is the way it is because it keeps integrated features like the "forgot password" function to work correctly. Multiple accounts with the same email would possibly break these functions.
Also purchasing accounts is against the end user license agreement and can result in the closure of purchased accounts. (That's if your referring to purchasing accounts on for example Ebay)
Buying retail down load is not against the user agreement, apparently that was not clear, I bought them off the best buy download website, if that was somehow illegal I think it would not be linked to the website. It is a matter of convenience that I can gain access to my accounts from one email rather than many. Last time I had to wait several days for customer support to answer an in game pettition in order to move an account off my main, it is an unneeded pain.

Well you mentioned buying accounts and that is against the EULA. That is not the case, but as I mentioned before our system needs seperate emails for every account. Our billing team is a little busy at the moment due to some issues with paypal, but you should get an answer within 24 hrs.

Just curious...but don't your family members all have/want their own email addresses?

FYI - It's semantics in a sense. Craeting a Cryptic account is 'free' (ie you can create a Cryptic user account; and then play the free demo for either of their MMOs - STO, or Champions Online without spending a dime.)
What you did was buy multiple copies of the STO retail game, which you want to add to Cryptic accounts (by using the retail code included with each copy); but technically, you purchased multiple game copies, NOT multiple Cryptic user accounts.
What's the difference? Unfortunately because of the nature of MMOs (where you have to work to advance a character and get gear and on game currency); a lot of players ttry to sell their existing player account for real money once they have decided they are done playing the game and decided they'll never play nit again. The sale/transfer of that type of account is what's against the STO EULA; and that's what Implausible thought you were refereing to when you stated "I've bought multiple accounts" in your post.
Again, in a way it's semantics; but technically, a Cryptic account is 'free'. Adding a game to that account recuires a retail purchase of a game, and the input of a retail key on to an existing account. The fact that some peoiple create an account during installion of the retail software is irrelivant; the account itself is free.
