I'm stuck on Account server login for god knows how long.
Than I get kicked.
Have had this problem for over a week.
Got no help from my other threads about this.
And yes I did the proxy thing solution in the sticky.
Didn't help any.
I'm running on XP and the only change I can think of between when it worked and now is
one of the patches. can't remember which one.
did you to a tracert and nettest to check your connections
did you disable shutdown and reboot you firewall to see if it is block the game
did you do the same to any antivirus program to see if it is blocking the game.
did you set the launcher and gameclient exe to run as admin if you are using win 7 or vista
are you using a wireless
are you on a university network

I'm having the same problem. After patching 1.2, i cannot connect to the log in server. Worked fine before 1.2 patch. My internet connection and frame rate are fine.
recheck your firewall/antivirus. lots of programs will reflag a patch program needing reauthoiization to access the net. Zone Alarm is well notied for this, also windows defender will do it too sometimes when winodws defender gets a new update.
Same problem here, times out every time. Run as admin and allowed through firewall (launcher and gameclient).
tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com returns a timeout every time as well. Worked Friday night but not since. Any help? Trying to open a ticket times out. Support times out. Any other way to get in contact with someone? Other games work fine.

Try clearing your dns cache. in command prompt type ipconfig /flushdns in case you have a bad dns cache. also clearing your IE browser cache sometime helps.
also try power cycling the router.
