BO
- LT Universal - SCI - Jam Sensors, Sci team 2
- LT Universal - ENG - Engineer Team 1, RSP 1
- LTC Universal - Tac Team , High Yield 2, Omega 1
- CDR Universal - High Yield 1, Rapid Fire 1, High Yield 3, Rapid Fire 3
Ship
- Front: 2xTET DHC, 1xDisrupt DHC, Quant
- Rear: 1xTet Turret, 1xDis Turret
- EPS, 2x +6 Weap
- 3xDefector Field
- 3xPrefire Cannon
Power Levels
- Right now, i'm still tweaking that, I seem to prefer almost max weapons, the +6 consoles made it east to get to 125. then I even up the rest, or take from Aux a little.
Bindings
Bind for space bar:
/bind Space "+TrayExecByTray 0 1 $$ +TrayExecByTray 0 2 $$ +TrayExecByTray 0 3 $$ +TrayExecByTray 1 1 $$ +TrayExecByTray 1 2 $$ +TrayExecByTray 1 3 $$ GenSendMessage HUD_Root FireAll"
- Which will queue up Omega, Alpha, HY, RF (which ever is ready)
Remarks
- You may ask why two weapon types, I wanted to try out the +22 cannon consoles and apply different debuffs for a lack of a better term (disruptor+tet)
- The GUI didn't indicate any difference to DPS between +22 cannon or +22 weapon, but since I'm mixing, I better go with cannons
- So i pretty start with the space bar and queue up stuff, uncloak and unleash
- Selecting the other abilities as desired.
- As mentioned in another post, I do swap LT stations depending on needed abilities for the engagement.
- I also have a tac BO I use to swap in Cannon Volley III for group fighting, which seems to be common now.
Comments
I'm running
Emergency to Shields 1 - Aux to Struc 1
Haz Enit 1 - Sci Team 2
Eng team 1 - Emg to shields 2 - Directed Energy Mod II
Tac Team - HY II - TSS III - Rapid Fire III
The DEM II + Rapid Fire III + Alpha Combo chews the green glow and the new blue one.
I use this "CANT KILL ME NENER NENER" bind
/Bind Q "+TrayExecByTray 3 0 $$ +TrayExecByTray 3 1 $$ +TrayExecByTray 3 2 $$ ++Power_Exec Distribute_Shields"
I put Emergency to sheilds 2 then 1 then Aux to struc 1 in that row.
I nail the Q all the time distributing my shields running the new an improved emergency to sheilds... and running the aux repair resist every 15 sec..... and I speced some into aux power efficency.
So far I only really die if I get focused by 3 or 4 really mad feds lol.... or I choose to go by ramming someone.
I think I may create a Engineer LTC to do much like you have there, least to have to swap in those game where it seems I'm getting a bloody nose more than anything else
so post your builds lets see where we can take this and improve:) it
I replaced my ST with TSS I, and seem to be pretty happy with it. It's a good shield heal, but more importantly, a shield resist buff as well. The only time I run into an issue is when I get subnuked, but usually a teammate has ST and I just call for it.
As for builds, is this a BoP only list? If not, this is what I run on my star cruiser: http://tinyurl.com/344g6xn . It's healing mainly, however in a C&H I usually just switch to 100 weapons and use my heals for survival and do pretty good damage and still great in healing.
As for the Kling alt I'm working on grinding up, at the moment I'm sticking with an engi-centric BoP for greedy survival whilst doing damage. So stuff like ET, RSP, Aux to SIF, Hazard Emitters, etc. All science and engi skills essentially. Eventually I'll probably switch to a BC or Carrier, but for now, it's Engi-BoP/Sci-Bop.
Cheers, and the bop build is something I don't want to face off against
Emergency to Shields 1 - Aux to Struc 1
Eng team 1 - Emg to shields 2
Sci Team 1 - Tachyon I - Photonic Shockwave [ I have a second sci Boff to switch that has Transfer Sheild II instead of the Tachyon if its a harder match]
BO 1 - Rapid 1 - Target Aux III - Scatter Volley III
3 DHC Disruptor - 1 DBB Disruptor
2 Arrays Disruptor
I dropped my torp... after weighing it out everyone just gets there shields back up way to fast now.
I switched to the new scatter cause its a little op. I also switched my TSS to Target Aux. The hard to kill cruisers where fixing there shields too fast to be useful... but hitting Aux for -80 really seems to keep the healing down.
The new Tachyon is improved for sure... and Photonic Shockwave instead of DEM... DEM was nice but hitting someone with the shockwave is just fun.... and again it keeps people from healing.
Should be fun, don't see all that many healing bops. I find a lot of the sci powers work great on the bop as you can get in and out fast. Shockwave on the bop is so fun its silly. Evasive from 15k out and slamming into someone with the shockwave is very satisfying.
With battle cloak you could probalay swoop in chuck 4 or 5 heals and be gone and cloaked before anyone had time to switch targets.
that way feds dont cry and klingons dont always win lol my goal of this is to try to get the feds to learn new builds and do better i know i need a new fed tac build any one got one out there i saw one guy in fvf tac do over 800k all together

I hope that link works...
This is pretty close to my Fed Tac Escort Build.
I run 3 Dual Heavys One Dual Beam
3 arrays Rear
I have had no problems racking up 700k in 1.2... not that I play my fed much.
Should give you nice survivability with the 2x emerg to sheilds... (will all so let you run less power to sheilds as you can constanly keep it bumped up) I would suggest putting it in aux to bump your haz emmiters.
You can use my Keybind from my ealier post to run The 2 Shield powers with Distribute shields.
Thank you for the kind words

I do have another sci build and a eng build (granted dps). I'll work on posting those for discussion, here soon.
I have two LT SCI one for FvF and one for FvK, i'll explain later
My intention is to harass and hopefully (as in another post, shoot people in the face)

The other Sci LT i have is when I feel jam will be better than Repulse
Repulse is a lot of fun, when you push the person from the healer, or healer from his group
So i pretty start with the space bar and queue up stuff
Selecting the other abilities as desired.
I save SNB for when the target tac buffs or they RSP
I removed all but 1 bathroom from his ship, till he improves.
If you mean torp crits, I think there was some changes there, harder to plant them on someone now.
yeah they changed it in the patch
Its good if you change your levels around in-out of combat, so I recommend keeping one.
I'm the same way. I kept one for switching between high aux and high weapons mode, and for high shields if I get BTS:S'd on my cruiser.
EPTS 1 - Emerg to SIf I
Eng Team 1 - EPTS 2
Tractor Beam 1 - Siphon 1 - Shockwave 1
Sci Team 1 - Transfer Shield Stregeth 2 - Haz III - Charged Partical Burst III
I run 1 Dual Beam up front with 3 Dual Heavy
2 Beam arrays in the rear
(This alllows me to run the snake pass (S curve to keep the rear arrays running as I sweep the cannons in time to the cooldown, it works very well))
My power levels with nothing running are 125 / 52 / 52 / 69 (Running only one +6... could boost more)
With EPTS 2 125 / 84 / 52 / 69 [76 shields when version 1 is running... but with overlap it jumps over 100 for a bit]
With Siphon running add another 9 to each for 15 seconds.
At 69 power my CPB stripps almost 3k in shields resists or no.
I have tested in a few pvp and it seems to do very well. With the S curve pass I am still topping the DPS charts with out any tac boff skills. (My tac officers are working in the galley, someone has to get the gack ready for meal time)
I like to de cloak at 5k hit CPB to remove half their shields... hit the tractor, round of cannons to remove the shield, move in to 3k hit shockwave, cannon round removes the ship.
I was playing in kravat last night and I stopped running on restart... I just hit damp field and phontoic fleet... burst and shockwave... and cleaned up the 5 or 6 feds that didn't run. LOL

This is one of my test runs this morrning... I include this just to give you an idea behind the build... yes you can still kill with out the tac... infact its easier when you opponent has no shields and can't do anything about it. I probaly could have racked up another, 100k in healing but I was testing running 2 armor units so I didn't really need to self heal the healing I had was on other players.
{EDIT - http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/5607/gameclient2010062213334.jpg
I was in a pug that was up against Raumpatrouille Elysion must be a Euro fleet they where good... nice long battle. I think this one demonstrates the Combat medic idea.. fun match}

I haven't been lucky enough to get a CSV3 to drop on red side yet.
I have not had as much luck with Emer 2 Weap, DEM or Aux 2 Batt, but I will certainly revisit these.
There are so many new things I want to try, especially after being brutalized last night in Salvage Op.
I'm sure it would help if I just stuck with one character... but those Dailies aren't going to do themselves...
