Still Stuttering with an Nvidia Gfx Card

Hi Guys,

I am still getting the Stuttering with STO that a lot of users have/had with Nvidia cards :(. I have tried various different drivers to try and resolve the issues and I have even bought a separate pci-e network card just in case that was causing an issue but to no avail.

I have even done a complete re-install of win 7 x64 just to make sure I didn't have some dodgy software, again to no affect.

I have an xfx nvidia 1gb 250 GTS gfx card.

My PC Spec is below:
Phenom II x4 940 8mb Black Edition Processor
ASUS Crosshair Formula II Motherboard
8gig of corsair ram - x2 4gig pc2-8500
EDIMAX PCI-E Network Card
30gig Ocz SSD
Western Digital Caviar Green 1.5TB 3.5" SATA II Hard
SATA II DVD Burner
750w cooler master PSU
Antec 900 Gaming Case with an Extra Case Fan

I have done a mem test ran overnight and got 0 errors.

I'm really not sure what else to try at this stage, I have got an Ati card that I can try and see if that works but I dont want to have to use a different card unless I really have to.

Any other ideas ?

go up to the sticky post on technical issues and it has a link to the major post on this issue. It looks like there are many people with this issue but no common thread on the cause or what works. I have the issue and have tried pretty much everything with no real success.

It may be my GTX260 sli arrangement. I need to turn off sli over the weekend and see if it helps. Likely way more people who have the game working perfect so I'm afraid we are a small group relative to those that have it working. And without a real common thread on the cause, I doubt that there is much cryptic can / will do to help us.

    I FIXED IT :):)

Under the nvidia control panel and under 3d settings there is a setting for pre-rendered frames set that too 0
