I do not like MA crafting , i know there must be some that do , but dont you find the commodities everywhere anoying?

Press V to see where quest target is and it sends you to one of these etc , i find they are anoying , pick them up so you can use 'V' , i have bundles of these but probably wont use them.

Wouldnt it be better if they were 'farmed' , 'mined' etc , only found in clusters? perhaps if you buy a new certain ship it increases the chance of you finding a mineable system?

So these things arent everywhere but found in clusters only?

Just my view but what do you think?

Looking for them in each mission gives people something to do other then pew-pew. :)

If you're not needing any of your anomalies I'll be happy to take them off your hands. Just emall them to Carter Benz@Cosmic_One :)

Commodities are used for Aid the Planet missions not crafting at Memory Alpha. You use Data Samples for crafting and they can be farmed in the various exploration areas as well as in the areas when you do your mission. Its not like you find a lot of them during the missions anyway and there is no requirement to go look for them either during the missions.

Ships should in no way affect finding data samples. That is unfair and a bad idea. Why should I be forced to purchase a ship that I don't want in order to find certain data samples? Especially when there is a limit on the number of ships you can own. The game cannot tell me which ships I should and shouldn't have, that's my choice.

As for specific systems/planets where you can beam down to and mine the data samples. That's a good idea. At least you don't always have to be in space looking for them, you can even go to a planet.
