1) Mission replay NOW! Not with "sidekicking", not with the massive Season 2 Update that is going to bring joy to the masses...release it NOW! Award "daily" tokens for players that redo these quests at a lower rate (1 for normal, 3 for elite) - it beats the lack of things to do at RA5.
2) Allow RA5s to refit any ship they like. It's silly not to allow this.
3) Remove level banding from Fleet Actions. Sucks to be a lower tier, but that's the reality of an MMO. Not everyone is "equal".
Too much is expected of Season 2 at the moment...make these simple changes and you please a lotta bored players.
1) read the calendar, please accept that many things are tied together. you might have wanted the replay episodes quicker but its no good doing that if its screws up an important feature like side kicking, just because you dont want side kicking does not mean others dont, please be understanding. stuff is often integrated together and is far more complex than we realise to implement.
2) they are allowing us to refit tier 4 ships as trier 5 somewhere down the road. i dont really want a super powered miranda or nova class. would make an even bigger mess of canon
3) they are working to improve this feature. the general idea was a good one but it has broken up the players into bands that has not helped and they have admitted they are looking into it.
I've been doing the "old" missions too often to still enjoy them. Many have gone through them by leveling another toon or like me by helping fleet members a million times. So the entire sidekicking or replayability thing is nothing i am really looking forward to.

For the most part I agree. I never considered Replay that big of a deal. You can already Replay anything just by teaming up with someone doing it or by making a new character. Replay isn't the best time Cryptic could have spent on the game, IMO, but I am looking forward to the Squad System.

be nice if they give a bonus at the end of the replayed mission that where different to what we got first time, or titles for re-playing a certain number. just something cool to be an incentive to re-do it

Which is why I suggested using them as alternatives to "daily" missions. Award the daily token for these based on the difficulty you selected. It adds a TON of new options to your "daily" mission vs. "explore B'tran".

I'm not opposed to getting Daily Merits for doing a Replay. It would need to be limited in some fashion like the B'Tran daily missions or it would just end up as another exploit in the game.

I completely agree! Limit it to 5 tokens daily. Could be 5 missions on "normal" or 20 on elite...same token payout (5). This gives players like me who don't want multiple toons a very good reason to go back to these areas and redo the missions - may even force me (encourage me) to use the "sidekicking" feature.

I think 'refits' should be allowed at any level honestly. The fun way would be to actually upgrade the ship via crafting. But the lazy/easy way would just allow previous tiers of ships you've unlocked to appear as 'costume' options. Add a dropdown to say which tier you want your current ship to look like and select only from those options. Within its category obviously, so excorts have to still look like escorts.

There's a saying in IT / development circles: Cheap, Fast, Good. Pick any two. If you want even more gameplay bugs and unusable instances, keep asking for timelines to be bumped up.
1) There's a reason it's tied to sidekicking. The techs are very similar; creating content that is level-appropriate for a user. Sure, they could probably enable missions without tying them to your current level, but you'd be picking off ships and NPCs 20 levels below you. No thanks, I'd rather wait a little longer and have something good.
2) dstahl once mentioned this and said they're looking to see if it's even possible. That suggests to me that it's not nearly as easy of a solution as you might think (though I agree it would be a nice addition to the game).

2) I think it would only be -1, no going up a level. And I'd be fine with that if the tier 4 Science Vessels weren't so fugly. -2 acceptable?
3) I'd rather be the small guy in the small ship getting just a few kills vs being the only one in the only active instance
2: I've never considered the Voyager to be fugly, but then beauty is subjective.
