Did that just happen? Did. THAT. Just. Happen!?!

Fighting a Borg cube in the B'Tran Cluster...tough SOB...worked through 5 other squadrons of ships and spent a good 10 or 15 minutes getting his hull down to under 50%. That's when the unthinkable happened...

The cube warps out, mid-combat, and in warps another cube at 100% hull.

Seriously? That is someting that I had never experienced before, and I'm not usually one to throw up my hands and say "TRIBBLE this," but that absolutely merited a big, "TRIBBLE this!"

Sorry, but that doesn't make the game more fun and challenging; that only makes me want to avoid ship combat missions when I'm doing my dailies. Please make that go away.

I've seen cubes warp in and out like that sometimes.

Kinda puts a whole new spin on "resistance is futile."

Sorry, fella, but that is comical. Don't worry, I'm sure my amusement will be significantly curbed when it happens to me, but in he meantime its just one of those things you just don't hear about that often.

    Borg tag-teaming. I love it.

If I stay cloaked too long and/or too far away, all NPC targets disengage and then warp back in with full hull...but thier shields remain the same.

I dont cloak for more than about 20-30 secs...and remain within 20km(actually about 16km) of the target at all times once engaged.

I get real nervous when the NPC is no longer targeting me, especially while cloaked(Borg can see/track us while cloaked, but wont fire).

ON the plus side, while a Rear Admiral, you have a chance of another federation vessel flying in if your health is too low. :)

For some reason the Cube "thinks" there is no one to fight and resets. That happened to me yesterday on Tribble in my Escort. Arrrrgh. I say. I was struggling without that bug already!

Still got in the end, even if we died at the same time... :D

Happen for me if the fighting pulls far from its original start point and everyone in the team dies at around the same time or none of the team is in combat range. The cube will reset.

Okay, so I'm getting the impression that it's a glitch and not something the devs thought would be cool to do to make players go apoplectic?

That happened to me in Azlesa once when I was leveling my Eng alt on Elite, ****ed me off big time when it happened, then I realized what happened..

I had kited the Cube so far out that it reset......it sucked, but the same thing would have happened in WoW or PotBS.
