Please please please can cryptic add some option which would allow me to keep an older ship... for example i really like to use the galaxy class however this is not as powerful as the tier 5 ships.
My idea is that cryptic could add a system to kind of upgrade the ship you have (Refit) so it could have more hit points, more bridge officer powers ect...
This would give the game a lot more freedom for players to keep the ship they want and would also meen a lot more variation in the ships people use... so instead of seeing people fly around in tier 5 ships you would have people teaing in all manner of ships, would be more fun!!!

You can refit any ship that you own. Making it viable is all up to you.

aye, but a smaller ship will always have less shields, less hull, less slots and less bridge officers.

Which I think would result in more deaths. Especially in PvP.

Becuase shield, hull, etc. all have a base value, which is substantially lower on a Akira, for example, than a Galaxy.
