I would love to know why, after all the community hate it seems to garner every time it occurs, Cryptic still persists in unannounced changes in nearly every patch they release. This latest one seems to have boosted SB24 and Khitomer Accord, neither were mentioned even in passing in the patch notes.
So why does this keep happening? Either Cryptic thinks people are too stupid to notice the most blatant of changes or they simply don't care for their players. Either way I'd like to see a bit more transparency and not another Champions Online.
Crpytic as a whole clearly thinks the playerbase are nothing but rag dolls to be squeezed of every last potential dollar before being discarded, so of course they don't care.
What surprises me is that stealth updates don't happen more often.

Every MMO I ever played had this issue. I wouldn't chalk it up to Cryptic so much as it is the nature of human communication.

Most MMOs I've played haven't changed nearly as much content without announcing it. Just look at CO, where twenty plus powers were changed with no mention in the notes. And this game, where one of the only four endgame instances was apparently radically buffed without mention. Most developers at least have the courtesy to warn players even in the most generic fashion of changes like this rather than expecting people to run face-first into a brand new invisible brick wall.

sure seems that their business model is structured that way doesn't it ?
Every mmo, I have played and that is many over 10 years, all of them had changes in patches that were not in the notes, Some of them were big changes, it's not just a Cryptic thing, not saying I agree with it, but it is just one of those things that happen every where.. /shrug

Hence the name, Cryptic.
I'm surprised no one caught that yet.
