Agreed, I want more bank room and tabs like Fleets get would be excellent for sorting and seperating.
As an addition I wouldnt mind having a specific tab that worked like Credit depositing only for samples. Just dump them in and it works as a counter for each type thus removing the need for stacks of 99.
Every time I visit the bank I'm astounded at how we still don't have the option to purchase additional personal bank tabs/slots/pages. CO allows this with in-game money, and ST:O has purchasable Fleet bank tabs, so it's not a major hurdle. It's a total oversight on Cryptic's part. Hopefully one they will correct soon.

I agree with this thread. I posted a similar idea in another thread.
Guild Wars has this as an anniverary gift and something you can purchase for $9.99 a tab at a pop. If STO gets it, I DO NOT want it to be $9.99 a tab as STO already has a mail system that suits this purpose. But instead make it $9.99 for 10 additional tabs with the possibility of an additional tab for every 150 or 300 days of subscription membership. This is something then worth paying for to avoid having to keep items in mail or on other characters.
Heck such an option would relieve any buren the mail system has with having to temporarily hold items for players and make Crytpic some change to boot.
Would really like to have more space and if we can have that extra space in the form of nameable tabs all the better for organizing ground gear, data samples, foods, tribbles, and what ever else people can come up with.
Yes also as mentioned awhile back by other posters, a shared bank tab would be sweet as well along with more space.

Whoops. I almost forgot about that part of what I wanted brought over from Guild Wars.
This $9.99 unlock package should also contain in addition to the 10 tabs at a time for each purchase, should also unlock the "Merchat box" or whatever they want to call it with your first purchase. Like J-Sheridan posted above and like Guild Wars has at the moment, have a component materials section as the last tab in your inventory slots, where you can place all of your component anomalies, medical supplies, injury items, food(as they are components for tribble farming), and whatnot into this last area so that us merchant wannabes can stack up and not have to take up space in the tabbed section of your bank(which we just purchased).
Come on Cryptic. You know this game needs more trading economy support(Memory Alpha upgrades not withstanding--thanks for that BTW), and such an addition to the game and your pocket book would help to facilitate this.
UPDATE: Also, the $10 price would help to serve as a deterent to ensure that this feature does not take away any from the current system of rewards you have in place for giving more bank space when leveling up and wanting to join a fleet. Not everyone I assume sees more bank space as a huge deal, but for those of us who do, the $10 price(or in-game equivalent for those opposed to Cryptic points) would provide your staff designers with a financial incentive while also being an acceptable amount to give us access to a potentially limitless bank space for us to use.
BTW, the rows in each of these 10 bank tabs would still increase in the same allocation(or more) as your character levels giving you more bank slots at the Admiral level than what you had at the Ensign level, even if you purchased this option for all of your characters upon account creation.
Another thing they need to think about is a price. 1.2mill is a bit much and in the long run does nothing but promote users to go buy farmed credits. Sure some guilds have 20 members and 1.2mill isnt that much but for smaller guilds it is, and for a personal bank 1.2mill is way to much.

Agreed!
Perfect idea
Tabs would be great for organizing. One for all the supplies/samples, one for gear, one for tribbles, etc.
both for fleet and personal.

I like the tabs idea, and possibly the rows idea. Obviously up to a max number of rows/columns. I want a tab for tribble breeding!
