I would love to see support for the 3D mouse from 3D Connexion. For moving a person, or a ship, this mouse would be the perfect tool. I also get tired of pressing the keys and getting my fingers on the wrong keys and moving the wrong direction. I've used this mouse with SecondLife and it's the greatest.

:D I agree. :D The 3d connexion device is the simplest xyz axis available, and works in a lot of programs already, from AC3D to Autocad. It's a favorite tool for some 3d modelers, so it makes sense to support something so comfortable to people as an awesome video game controller. A 3d connexion would make fights in space much easier.

Obviously support for a pair of accelegloves would be awesome too, but I'm just saying, this guy is right, 3d connexion for star trek online is an awesome idea.

... waits for his 3d connexion device that's in the mail ...
