I have a question, and maybe it has been asked before. But when reading the skills for Hazzard Emitters it clearly states that it removes fire damage. So, maybe someone can fill me in as to why when I I use them after igniting to plasma fire....my ship is still cooking? I could be wrong, but it is after all a "Plasma Fire" on my hull.... what's up with this Cryptic. Is this another "bug" being looked into, or are you just going to remove the line about removal of fire from the skill?

I think the problem stems from plasma fire stacking now, hazard emitters may be putting out the first one but not the stacked ones.

That would be it. Haz emitters (and the other space counter skills) should be adjusted to match the ground skills that will clear multiple instances of what they counter, usually in the low teens.
I am aware of the stacking issue, however I have had situations where it was non stacked, and still didn't clear. Not that it really mattered as my HE I has a HoT of 10,350 over 22 seconds, but it was just the fact that it didn't clear the fire of a non stacked debuff.

They've gotten somewhat better about showing all active debuffs and stacks but it's still not 100%. Or maybe it did clear and another one just got reapplied right after? Or the counter mechanics actually are still buggy :rolleyes: One would expect that to be something of a priority system. Geesh, game's almost ready for beta at this point...
