Awesome improvement to the Skill GUI, Cryptic... but...

That combobox control you guys added to display which skills affect the select ability... that's awesome Cryptic, really it is. :D

It should have been there from Closed Beta, actually, but now that's besides the point. The point however, is that yet again, you guys simply dump all the possible abilities (including beam weapons and what-not) into a huge list that attempts to break out of the screen and doesn't even have a scroll-bar! :eek:

Seriously guys, did you even use the GUI with a character that has at least 3 Bridge Officers and a Heavy Cruiser?! Because doing so, would've exposed this problem in a very reproducible manner.

Also, why is that combobox control missing from the Respec GUI?! I understand that when people Respec they may come up with a detailed build and copy it to your GUI, however, your GUI isn't user-friendly enough to be used in this manner, and so I suggest adding this crucial combobox control to the Respec GUI as well.

    It was fine until the scroll bar went AWOL, but that is just a bug. Adding in Power levels would be nice.

    Actually, I think the data-model collecting all the abilities should be displayed in a GUI of it's own and let us select an Ability category first, and an Ability second, and all abilities should not even display a level, in other words, the query collecting the abilities to display should be refined to treat abilities of the same nature but of different ranks as distinct.

    But yeah... lets start by getting the Scrollbar back first... ;)
