No title, no respec, no badge, and no bonus. Nothing in the patch notes. Are these supposed to turn on automatically?

Don't think they're implemented yet. Last Dev talk i saw on it said they were still trying to determine which date to base the days counted as subscribed off.

Well, if it wasn't yesterday, then it will have to be 100 days after the first 30 free, I'd assume.

    :(

No no, what i'm saying is that the decisions that will determinewhat date the 100 days etc is based off hasn't been made yet and so they CAN'T turn the system on. Normally once the decision is made and communicated it will be pretty quick to go active and also take into consideration time that has already elapsed.

I asked about the issue and was informed that some people think the 100 days mark will start at the end of this month.

It does seem a little 'off' that Cryptic advertises the vet rewards starting fromm 100 days of individual subscription and that day has passed for many! Give it time though - it'll come. :D

They should start from this past Thursday at the latest. They will be retro-patched in.

    The question is whether to:

    - Count headstart.
    - Count launch.
    - Count from when your retail key was entered.

My money is on it being the last one as some folks milked the grace period..

My understanding is that they system for implementing Vet Rewards is not yet in place due to techinical issues and that it will be implemented when 1.2 goes live. The first, for the 100 days, will be late but the others will be on time.

or, 100 days of game time actually played, rather than from the time or release

Head-start was January 29th, with release on February 2nd.

So if they're counting from January 29th, then 100 days would be May 8th, last Saturday for lifetimers. If they're only counting February 2nd, then it 100 days would be May 11th, last Tuesday for lifetimers.

That would stink. Retail key activation was far after headstart, and at launch. Us lifetimers have been paying for STO long before the people with the free 30 days.

Yes. How terrible of them to delay a free program for 2 additional weeks so they can get it right.

I don't think so, I mean we did get to play in the OB and headstart (Well some did, I am sure not everyone did) so we payed for the privilege to start early. I think it is fair they use the Retail Activation.

I would rather it start for the time we paid for our lifetime subs because that's the right thing to do if they wanted to show their gratitude for "vet" players. But it's a trivial issue.

Yup. Cryptic is so disjointed. Their communication with each other is a trainwreck, let alone with the community as a whole.

I activated my retail version on February 2, I was in headstart on Jaunary 29. Either way, 100 days was up no later than May 12.

Is it going to ruin my day, that it is not here yet? "No"

Do I anticipate a flood of complaints on the STO forums if it is much later? "Absolutely".

Does Cryptic need to address this issue, before it spins out of control? "Yes" They better jump on this quick!

As per the Engineering Report, Vet Rewards are "in testing." Cryptic's defintion of "in testing" is "generally around 2 weeks away from going live."

QFT. :) That's exactly how I feel and where I'm at too. Not a big deal to me since they'll be implemented eventually and I consider it a bonus rather than something we're paying for that we don't have yet (like things promised by Cryptic in the past).

The principle alone is what adds another notch of hatred to my 'Cryptic Sash of Discontent'. ;)

I went to the test server last night, and Vet rewards were not there yet.

In testing doesn't necessarily mean on the test server. It just means their being tested and should be out in a couple of weeks.

I can confirm this. The required bits didn't make it into 1.1 and had to be pushed back to 1.2.
Days start counting from retail activation, however they may consider the date of lifetime sub for those of us who did pre-order/headstart/lifetime subs. I hope they do... Amazon took over a week to send me my retail box. I actually entered the retail code on the last day of the grace period. :(

may they should base the 100 days from how many days the account was active? does it make sense?

Veterans are based on active days(account) ideally not on subscriptions?

    can someone please correct me?

Vet Rewards are based on days paid, but include the free 30 days you get from buying the game and start from the moment you activated your Retail Key.

Honestly I dont much care if they count when i bought my life time or from retail key entered or anything else. I am sure whatever date they pick a little delay wont be the end of the world. It is after all just a title and few things were talking about here not like were being jipped on the captains yatch :)
