Is it possible to use off-duty uniform parts for Bridge Officer outfits?

There's a few combinations I'd really love to have.

I haven't been able to play for the past couple weeks (gaming computer died, and this one can't run STO), but when I did, you could have your officers wear the off-duty outfits. I have an officer I made to be a Mr. Homn, and I put him in the off-duty robes.

I'd like to see Deanna Troi's clothes as options. She seemed to wear whatever she pleased.

I seemed to remember that as well, but when I checked today, I couldn't, so I was left to wonder if I had done something wrong or was just crazy.

i know it was available too, but actually you cant outfit BOs with off duty anymore...

hope they will change it back to make off duty available to BOs again...

Something which Captain Jellico rightfully busted her down for.
Even she agreed as she wore a proper uniform from that moment onwards.

And if you try to change a BO that has a off-duty uniform it reverts back to a normal uniform.
    Pleh.

But Chat has 1 wearing it. :D

The feature was available when they patched in the Off Duty Uniforms, but for whatever reason they removed it in 1.1. So there was a small window you could put it on one.

It would be nice if they would open the option up again. Would allow you to have Dr. Phlox type characters on your team.

    Why would Cryptic do this!

Only a very limited number of people are ever going to see any particular player's bridge officers. This isn't like captains running around starbases with silly costumes.

    Cryptic makes me sad :(

You could blame the people outraging in well in advance that captains would dare have their crews dressed in nothing but Risa Swimwear. (Which, isn't actually one of the options.)

Should've expected as much from the American thought police.

I will be glad when they release the Orion slave girl outfits for the KDF. I have an entire crew in need of those outfits. :D

I predict a few girls would too. Equal Opportunity Swimwear.

Swimwear is an upcoming option I believe.

Ah but saying that would be sexist. :p

Unless I'm really remembering incorrectly it was someone from the UK who started the complaints.

It wasn't 'thought police' so much as 'Canon Cops.' (To use the non-Godwin terminology.) :D

I think it would still take the devs agreeing with the complaints for it to get in the game, but then again UK's gotten pretty bad with thought policing as well.

    Canon police...
    Ugh... just ugh...

I'm wishing more and more this game wasn't Trek at all.

I wish Blizzard would make a sci-fi MMO (Starcraft Universe?) with crazy customization, player-housing in your own battlecruiser, squad-based ground combat with bridge officer like pets/allies, great space pew-pewery, and much, much better content (exploration and otherwise).

    Manskirts! Manskirts! Manskirts! Manskirts!

More canon than you would expect. :D
But sadly that would fall under the "unacceptable behavior"... Le sigh. :(
Put a skirt on a man and he gets a well... You know... That kind of brand on him. Which is why we will never see them.
But a girl can dream. *floats away on a fluffy dream cloud*

That would be the 'Skant' correct? Very cannon, and you wouldnt be the first to ask for it. ;)

I wish the skant was available. I had a Zapp Brannigan officer lined up (was even going to make him my helm officer  ), but scrapped him when I found out I couldn't put him in his wonderful uniform.

    Makes me a sad bunny.
