come on still waiting for the MASSIVELY-MULTIplayer Online part of this single player game with multyplayer options.
Sector space sections are smaller then a CoD, World at War Multiplayer map.

A rather rhetorical question, seeing as any answer would either try to define a MMO by other criteria, or you would be getting some kind of admission. In either case this leads absolutely nowhere. So the question is not truly a question, because the answer is a given.

I don't believe the defintion of MMO is that you must be forced to play with others. The defintion of MMO is that you have the ability to play with others if you wish to. I wouldn't want to play any version of STO where one Class was inferior and thus forced to team with others or the objective would be out of their reach.

Its not just the ability to player with others either, because there are alot of online games that arent MMOs(like FPS, for example). Exactly what makes the difference I'm not sure, but I think its a persistent online world, which FPS dont have.

The Galaxy is very small at the moment.
Lets hope Season 2 brings some new sectors.
I believe they are working on it.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_game
A massively multiplayer online game (also called MMO) is a video game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously. By necessity, they are played on the Internet, and feature at least one persistent world. They are, however, not necessarily games played on personal computers. Most of the newer game consoles, including the PSP, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DSi and Wii can access the Internet and may therefore run MMO games. Additionally, mobile devices and smartphones based on such operating systems as Windows Mobile and Google's Android, as well as the Apple iPhone are seeing an increase in the amount of MMO games available.

MMOGs can enable players to cooperate and compete with each other on a large scale, and sometimes to interact meaningfully with people around the world. They include a variety of gameplay types, representing many video game genres.

There we go: A game that allows a bunch of players to play in the same world in the same game, but not nessacarily together.

Most of you probably already knew this, but this is my first MMO that i've actually played (tried both WoW and EvE in trials, hated them both, so no real basis there), so now i found a reason to look it up.

Don't even try logic. it doesn't work, it goes in one eye and out the other.

Sector Space can have 50 people per instance (when maxed).

What version of CoD:WAW were you playing? The only ones I saw come close to that were auto-level, cheat servers.
The Galaxy is very small at the moment.

Season 2 comes with a new sector block (that both factions can enjoy apparently).

Also, dstahl posted an awesome screen from one of the Klingon episodes.

What's worse is that COD:WAW ground combat was easier than STOs. Less cheats here too.

I'm sure you shouldn't be happy about that. And really, there's not a whole lot that I can be sure that one should or shouldn't be happy about. I'm sure about that.
