They should include a seatbelt for the captains chair... 7meter drop right in front of it.
"GOING DOWN!"
"We need a new captain asap!"
"I'll be the captain. *sits in the chair*

Repeat until you no longer find it amusing.
I havn't flown a cruiser for a while... and OH MY GOD THE INTERTA they really need to fix that.. flying around feels like i'm playing some kind of tokyo drift racing game, ship practically does a 180 on inertia alone.
The new bridges are just an HR incident waiting to happen. If I had to sit in those console chairs every day I'd be suing Starfleet for worker's compensation.

I like the drift - it feels like I'm flying something too massive for the IDF field to properly keep up.
Also I think now I have the biggest possible Federation ship variant for my RA5 engineer - Nomad saucer, Vanguard hull. Maybe that awful Emissary is bigger.
Anyway, the C-Points were worth it just for the nacelles.

I agree. That Tokyo Drift mechanic is super annoying and doesn't fit with the "larger warp cores for additional power to all subsystems" description of cruisers. If it has more power, it shouldn't be sliding like ice on ice. You've also never really seen the Enterprise D or E having that issue.
So for all the prometheus fans out there that fly the ship, get your credit cards ready if you want the bridge to go with it, lol, another bad call from cryptic!
The first picture is a really bad angle that makes it look like a batmobile in space. But the other angles look great! A worthwhile design. And no, I don't think it looks like the Dauntless. It's unique.
If that's the one with that computer panel thingy behind the Captain's chair, it doesn't have the First Officer seating for sure.
You're thinking of the Classic Bridge which was a redress of the TNG bridge used in Parallels. You get the Prototype Bridge (the TNG bridge) later. I'm using it on my Sovereign.
While we're discussing C-Store bridges, I'd like to highlight that previous batches (Gamma, among others) still have Bridge Officers floating over their consoles. I'm not particularly inclined to spend more C-Store money until that gets fixed.
Please see this thread in the support/game play bugs section.
Why do they keep neglecting to put any chairs out for the first officer? I love that new bridge with that one exception.
Personally I am glad they don't have the useless passenger seats they introduced in TNG (wtf why is the ship's counselor even on the bridge and why is the first officer just sitting around like a dipstick? He can make himself useful and man a station if the captain's on the bridge), and the *#%&^#% "co-pilot" backseat driver seat on Voyager. It frustrated me to no end that the Star Cruiser bridges had them, especially since they're based off the JJAbrams bridge that doesn't have the extraneous seats!
McCoy can stand on his own two legs if for some strange reason he's on the bridge instead of tending to the sick or wounded in Sickbay, and Spock has better things to do than sit and look pretty next to the Captain is all I'm saying.

The bridges are nice, but I don't know about the Nomad. it reminds me of the Dauntless for some reason.
I was thinking the same thing. Not that that's a bad thing. I kind of liked the way the Dauntless looked. Plus remember, you can always just use parts. I really like those nacells.

I feel sorry for the BO's.
Unless they have also fixed the Sci bridges also.....I cant look I'm at work for another 4 hours..........

prometheus bridge doesn't have them
I agree. Some of the stock bridges and C-Store bridges have "officer" seating, yet others don't. It's kind of inconsistent.
I like these new bridges and the Nomad though
True but the "TNG" bridge has them and they are missing in STO.
The Prototype Bridge is the TNG bridge and it has them.
So do the C-Store bridges based on the JJ-Enterprise.

Well that is a bit annoying, but what I am really angry about them neglecting is making the bridge ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING.

Yeah, there's some definite artistic influence there I think.

Agreed. Especially the counselor part.
What is with people and ridiculous Star Wars comparisons. Does that ship look like wedge of cheese to you?
It has a very wide range of ship types.
And yes... Some ships are similar in Star Trek and Star Wars.
This one... not afaik.
