May 13 patch problem: "Cheyenne" to "Contellation"

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
The Constellation ship name has been fixed so it no longer says Cheyenne.

Star Trek Online never had the Constellation-class template as a heavy cruiser. It had the Cheyenne, Stargazer and Dakota class templates.

The Cheyenne was properly named ingame. Changing it to Constellation is a mistake.

The website's ship listing still shows "Constellation" as well - that is an error.

Please correct this at the earliest convenience.

edit: ack, I made a typo in my thread's title. x_x

    You are correct.

We even mentioned this in the Tribble forum that the Cheyenne was properly named. So guess Cryptic wasn't even paying attention.

Absolutely! Glad other people are picking up on this - it's a small but crucial error.

Just for the sake of anyone scratching their heads as to which is which, here they are:

Constellation class (e.g. USS Stargazer, Picard's first command):

Cheyenne class (part of destroyed fleet at Wolf 359):

Constellation: NOT in game (yet - pretty please, Cryptic! ;) ). Cheyenne: IN game - Tier 3 Cruiser.

Hopefully that makes it completely clear to everyone. :)

A lot of things mentioned in the Tribble forum get ignored. This is just one more example.
