So...I'm looking for information on the Memory Alpha Revamp but I can't find it anywhere. Just the text on the
calendar page. It seems like these types of things used to get posted in the
Release Notes or was it the
Dev Tracker or perhaps it was the
Engineering Reports??
P.S. Why is the Dev Tracker forum url structured into a search string? Was it always that way? It seems like it used to not be, but I could be mistaken.

New interface - fine. Anything is better than working blind.
Progressive unlock through a tier - doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I have to grind out ground items before I can make space now, then ground items again at the end of a tier (kits). It also leads directly to my next point ...
The conversion was very poor.
Pre-patch all items in the system were available to me (I had unlocked all tiers though I had not crafted that much in sci and nothing in tac). Today I lost access to mk x sci and mk viii and mk x tac. In my view that is not even remotely 'close'.
Less confusing than before but kinda poor that you can buy the items needed for the actual crafting. (minus the obvious samples)
Can anyone say hi to store bought Quantum Torpedos? Hi.
Maybe in Season 2. *shrug*
So yes.
we still need to be able to find blueprints in game that can be added to what we can already craft. these blueprints should be for unique weapons and items that you cant get in game with some cool abilities.
i did not see anything in memory alpha that looks that interesting or would improve what my RA already has. if we are going to invest time crafting stuff the items should be better and more powerful than what you can find or buy
Sambril, can you give me the link to where you found this material? thanks in advance.
Should have put this in my post - added now
Release Notes 5/13/10
also i want to craft some mark x quantum's but they are only available in XII so again no good for me right now
once they add all the items it will be better

All concerns that were tested and brought up repeatedly on Tribble, and completely ignored. And by ignored I mean they heard the concerns, but apparently decided they weren't worth doing a darn thing about since it went to the live servers anyway.
