Hi all,
Thought there were enough negative threads, so I'm starting a positive one.

I love the state of PvP right now. Its ALOT of fun... thrilling even! It really brings players together, and gets them to work together and play off each others' strengths.
Its also an amazing learning experience. The difficulty curve was JUST right for me, in a way that challenged me enough to want to get better but not so much that I got frustrated and quit.
Some specific points... (FYI I play an RA5 Fed science officer)
- The balance of different ship types is good. Not every Klink flies a BoP, which surprises me. There are plenty of carriers and battle-cruisers in T5 matches, and there is a good mix of science ships, escorts, and cruisers on the fed side.
- Although PvP is quite DPS centric, each of the three classes is capable of this. A cruiser can melt faces with a massive broadside, and a science ship has plenty of options for boosting effective DPS like FBP, energy siphon (+weapon power), or even tractor beam.
- The game rewards different roles like healers, tanks and so forth. I sometimes fly a healer build in my DSSV and still find PvP very rewarding.
- I love the new SNB. The buff strip FINALLY gives us the counter we need to perma-tanks that spam RSP or DPS *****s that stack every buff under the sun.
- While the list of science abilities that are viable in PvP isn't huge, it is still varied and there are rewards in experimenting with different loadouts. Its not a foregone conclusion that you MUST go for strict DPS. I'm having ALOT of fun with tractor beam 3 at the moment!
- The bug fixes weve had in PvP are much appreciated. Particularly the clipping issue in 'salvage operation'.
Keep up the good work Cryptic
