Logged in tonight and queued up my regular 2 Cracked Planets and 1 Briar Patch. I waited 20 mins and gave up. That is rediculous. Use to queue up and inside of 10secs you were launching. Has the KVK had that much of an affect on our pvp queues?
I think you mean FVF having that much of an effect. KVK is dead.
I actually think he may think that K's are in KvK instead of FvK, I'm afraid depending on your tier that there may not be many other K's online at that particular moment. FvK at tier 5 seems fairly short to queue for, sub 30 minutes most of the time and sub 15 minutes, or nearly instant quite often.
Well almost no players left on Klingon side, some of the remaining in PVE... there are less feds in the querie but the reason why we wait longer for pvp is NOT the lack of Feds, its the lack of our own allied.
I rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes when I play at around 6pm-10pm UK time.
But that is still a ~60-fold increase from my 5 second wait time before FvF. When I was levelling I managed to do a level every 2-3 hours or so all the way up to BG1.

I usually start playing around 5:00 PM PST and usually there are enough Klingon's on and I have little wait times, PvP queues.
Though the queue will sometimes drop drastically Klingon side if we have the War Zone daily.
The reason why you see longer PvP ques as a KDF player is there's fewer players.
1) Remember a month or so ago? There were numerous days of the week, weekends in particular, where you could see 100+ Feds waiting to PvP, and a dozen or so KDF happily obliging. Not so anymore. You'd be lucky to see a dozen Feds quing up on the weekends, a period of "prime time PvP." Other days? Far less. And this is T5.
2) It gets far, far worse in T1-T4. Levelling a Klingon is so painful in those tiers now since we get our SPs primarily from PvP, and PvP happens even less below T5. T2 right now is very painful.
3) FvF isn't as much a factor in taking PvP away from the Klingons like I originally thought it would. I'm playing my Fed RA5 and LtCmdr5, and PvP is happening less in those appropriate tiers. The majority of PvP I do get in is the 'ol FvK Salvage Ops. You can sometimes get FvK Cracked Planetoid, but most still favor FvK Salvage Ops if they had a choice. FvF will happen if there are almost no Klingons playing. Even then, I have found FvF to be uncommon.
In short, there's not enough PvP going because the numbers have gone down. Not enough Feds fighting to get the Klingons what they need. And the Feds can't get enough FvK because there are barely any KDF on at any point and not enough Feds to go around for FvF.

PS. if you suck in pvp, don't do it. if you still must do it, don't cry about it
Hack this...
I live in the UK, but try and get on when the yanks start playing. That way I'm almost always guaranteed insta' pops

Heh, if that is the case, then the truth would be more along the lines of "KvF is unfair, the Klingons can DPS us right back".
I wish there were more Klingon players. <sigh>
