Best Star Trek Game I Play

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
STO game is the best star trek game i play. Because you can move around. I always want a star trek game that i can move around and that i can pick which missions that i want to do. I know there is some problems with the game but i just love playing this game. I am a big star trek fan and i just don't want to see this game fail.

yeah. I hate those star trek games where you just have to stay in one place. They never excited me as much as moving around.
Also, this is the only Star Trek game you play right? Unless you are a stalwart of Legacy?

I agree the game is great It's a game that you have control over were you go and yes the game got off to a rocky start but by no means is it going to fade out when it comes down to it the people who are real Star Trek fans will stay in the end

I play some star trek video games in the past but this is the best. STO will be the only star trek video game i will play.

ah ok. I misunderstood you. I'm guessing English is not your first language. This is where I was confused by your use of current tense. No problem :)

Honestly, my favorite Star Trek game memories are a draw between the Gameboy TNG, Elite Force, and STO.

I've played many of the others: those three still come out on top for me.

I like STO, but Legacy did have some things better than STO such as better ship models...more of a star trek feel, no engine trails...better weapon sound effects. And, it felt like you actually were in space...not a fishbowl that had some dyes poured into it.

Still had Legacy on my PC when STO came out. If they can just remove the shield rings then STO will be perfect for me as it is now.

    Holy Carp!

It's late and I have a case of the sillies.

I can't stop laughing, thanks Zoot.

    :D

I really enjoyed Elite Force and there was oddly more diplomacy in it than there is here. I have yet to not destroy a race or murder alien babies in STO, that never came up for some reason in Elite Force.

If you go into options you can shut the shield rings off.

This option went to the live server weeks ago.
