come on, if your trying to atract business putting this sort of demo is the worst ever, only the most dedicated to finding out about it will stay past 10%, is there any way to quicken things up a bit.

Are you talking about the downloader? Does your ISP throttle torrents?

I agree with the original poster. I would love to give this thing a try, but the downlaoder is so slow that I keep giving up. I'm on Road Runner cable, and get downlaod speeds that jump from between 60 KB/s and 5 KB/s, with long periods of no activity at all. The closest I have gotten is an over-night stint that got me up to 11%. The fact that the downloader also slows down all of my internet access makes it impossible to live with. Opening up the firewall helps a tiny bit, but not enough to make much of a difference.
With the bad press this game is suffering through already, this does not help.

If running a torrent download is killing your router, you might want to use a "real" client instead of our mini downloader and heavily crank down on concurrent connections (that is usually what causes the router to fall over anyway).

You mentioned this "Real" client in another thread but neglected to inform us of what a "real" one is. And why the "quotes"?
