Refer a Friend Champions Online

Ive now received a code and activated it so this is no longer available.

Ive just purchased Champions Online. It seems like a decent game and for £7.99 it seems to be worth testing.

Ive got an account as it uses this STO one but I have not yet applied my key. So since STO has done refer a friend programme I checked out the Champions one. Seems you get some nice bonuses. Im looking for someone who already plays Champions and wants me as a referal.

As I said Ive bought the game so thats guranteed however Im not promising anything in regards to me starting a subscription. That may come as I have a lifetime to STO but we will see.

Im sorry to bother this forum with this but the Champions one wont let me post a thread yet.

Thanks for your time.

Yup the Champions program is what the STO one was based off of. Which is what inspired them to try it here as well. I've referred a friend there in the past So I've already got some of the bonuses. So I'll let someone else take first crack at referring you.

But if no one else does and you want the bonuses for yourself, (The Sapphire action figure is cute) drop me a line and I'll send you a referral.

Nice one m8. I will keep you as backup :D

Ive got to download the client and wait for my purchase to be security checked before I can do anything anyway. Got some time to wait.

Cant even patch the game without the key. Thats a pain. Anyway this means as soon as the security check from metaboli has completed I will have to enter the key immediately. This means I cant leave this open as long as I would have before. Please reply quick if you want this.

    Thanks.

you need to be careful of advertising games, prices and where you got them from ( yes, even Cryptic games ) as it falls foul of the 'advertising' policy.

£7.99 eh? I'm afraid after playing a little of the demo I was unable to bring myself to buy it even for the £2.99 it is available for in the UK. ( but if course I can't link where )

Yes Ive noticed the advertising bit. Fortunately this only needs to stay open for a little while till I get my key. I did see it for £2.99 but the one I went for has the digital download which was a lot easier for me.

    Thanks for the info.

maybe remove the site name from your post just to be on the safe side

The good news is that if you actually like it you can buy 10 copies at £2.99 in advance and get 300 days play for 30 quid :)

wow, excelllent tip. Didnt really think about it from that perspective. For us Ukers the VAT makes the monthly fee pretty expensive so anything to lower that would be a good thing. If it turns out to be a decent game I will do it this way.

You get 20 interweb points for being helpful.

EDIT: Edited out the seller in my OP
