Since Star Trek: Online is not based on seperate servers meaning there cannot be roleplay servers, as well as the fact of different instances, of course people can join together in fleets that are specifically for roleplay and organize roleplay. This manner however makes spontanuous roleplay between players that do not know eachother, quite difficult, because not everyone roleplays. To allow this, perhaps it would be easiest and clearest to simply add the option to have the letters [RP] next to your name, as it sits on your profile as well as over your head and ship. I think it would be a simple addition that would allow for a lot of spontanuous roleplay fun since you know who you can address in their character and who not. :)

Nice idea. It's a shame ST:O doesn't have a seperate RP server, but it's actually better as fleets can contain a mixture of both.

I don't find seperating everyone fun at all. But something as simple as this should make things clear to all and trigger a lot of fun :)

We've been asking for this sort of thing since Champions. I still agree it would be a great idea.

Workaround: put it in your Status line

But it'd be nice to have.

What if I want my status line for something else?

Then don't use it for that? Or use it for both. The status line accepts a fairly long text string.
