NPC interaction windows still poorly done

It's a shame to see the NPC's face generated in layers before my eyes in those NPC interaction windows.

There's got to be a better way...

    Considering that faces have been rendering complete consistently since the late 80's you'd think they'd have it down by now.

    But then, how many games have actually solved the clipping issue. I still play games where my foot passes through dead bodies, not over them, 23 effing years later.

    Yes, that is a strange and ugly thing to see. I wonder if anyone bothered to report this as a bug in-game. It kinda is the stuff you just ... well, live with?

    I don't think it's a "bug" exactly...

    It's probably due to how their game client is written. I suspect this issue is experienced in different degrees of severity depending on system-spec, and since a lot of gamers constantly update their equipment, Cryptic is probably having a really hard time pinning down the issue and fixing it.
