Ideas for Random Fun in STO

So yes, I'm RA5 and bored. But instead of whining about how there's nothing to do, I'd like to hear your ideas on what kinds of random silly fun STO enables you to have.

I went into a low level deep space encounter the other day and blew up ships left and right as fast as I could. It was surprisingly fun, but obviously not something you'd do over and over because the novelty would wear off too quickly.

It used to be fun flying around in the Fleet Actions with players from all levels. That was cool. The reward system at the end needs to be fixed but it was fun. Right now though it's running the STF at least once a week and doing a little roleplaying on the side.

I thought this was going to be about what fun little things we WANT adding. :P

    Mine would be:

    - Dabo tables (It's so happening!)
    - O'brian's dart board on DS9
    - A much larger area on Risa, with holiday resorts full of little games, like poker etc. Some games that let you gamble with energy credits would be good too (although not for the under-18's)
    - A game to throw tribbles into basketball hoops
    - Drinking alcoholic beverages (like Romulan Ale) impairs your movement, slows reaction times (like firing your rifle), and messes up the text you type in chat :D
    - Being able to slap your bridge officers
    - A 'loser' emote
    - A moonshine emote
    - Putting your ship in "disco mode" so it's lights and windows flash in time to some groovy 70's disco music
    - A karaoke machine in Admiral Quinn's office, that lets you actually sing into your microphone, and records your voice for people to rate
    - A game in Quarks bar whereby you have to get Morn to laugh by dancing in front of him.

I like hopping in PvP queues - finding out who kills me the most.

I then reload my ship between matches (and switch BOFFs) to ensure I can take them out (or am immune to their powers). :)

I like flying into low level deep space encounters with my T5 DSSV and healing newbies. Even transfer shield strength can heal a Light Cruiser's shields in one or two pulses!! :D I dont fire a single shot (unless to shoot down a heavy torpedo), so that they get the loot drops. If I accidentally kill something then I'll just give it to one of the newbs.

I enjoying going into warzones in the ker'rat system and just waiting for Klinks to spawn. If you can get everyone to cooperate, you can have 1v1 matches and all sorts of fun.

I LOVE the DS9 fleet action. I'm a medic so I mostly just heal and rez people, but its amazing how greatful some people can be!

Sometimes I just go to memory alpha and just waste time in zone chat. There are always people there.

I would like to see some real hazards on away-missions, such as dangerous creatures and plants.

How about a virus attacking a Bof and only having a limited time to formulate the antidote and save your crew (I know our captains can't die, but let's have some Bofs doing a Tasha Yar).

When ship interiors arrive, how about leading boarding parties? The Capt. will have to stay with the ship, but we could play as the Chief Tactical Officer. Perhaps a need to specify a 'Number One'?

Awesome idea. More variety on away missions is always good news. :D
