respecing - is there a way to determine quality of...

Is there a way that I can tell whether my respec is a good one or if I made mistakes?

Before I respec'd, I could only train my tactical officers in two or three skills, but now there are many more.
Does that indicate I did it correctly? What I did differently now is that rather than spreading my skill points all around more or less equally, I concentrated in the area of my specialty and did not put too many points in the other skill areas. Was it a mistake to ignore those other areas?

Try them all out on Tribble first.

Copy character to Tribble. Get respec. Test it out in a few missions. If it sucks, delete character from Tribble. RE copy character to Tribble. Get new respec with different choices. Test it out in a few missions.

Tribble is the best way to test out a respec. Saves you money and merits.

    Hope it helps.
