Everyone, lately klingons have been abuseing ground items in PVP. This is giveing them a very unfair advantage and why PVP is turring in their favor instead of it being balanced beetween Feds and Klingons. their was one match today where me and anothe guy were trying to kill a klingon alien but he kept useing items and we couldnt beat him. What we need is a item limit, like useing only 10 items in a match. something like this will prevent unfair events like thee one I encountered. Who here agrees with me or has experienced situations like mine?
Personally, since both Klinks and Feds have the same limit (or lack thereof) I disagree. It would be one thing if a faction could use more than the other but it sounds more like a case of this guy being armed well and you guys not. I don't think we should gimp the game simply because you think you should have done a better job than reality would have it.
Yeah, how is that a Klingon issue? We're not just picking on the Klingons because they're "different" then us are we? Where are your "evolved sensibilities" now?

I never said the limit was for just klingons, the limit should be for both fractions. and its not a case of not being well prepared, when we fought him he had like 20 hypoes and kept useing them even when he was held and we couldnt kill him, am I the only one who thinks that seems unfair to cheat geting killed like that?
I'm not all that familiar with the ground mechanics because I hate everything about that aspect of this game, lol. It does seem odd that they should be able to use items while stunned but as long as both sides can do it I don't think the item limit is the answer to the problem.
Nah, 20-30 hypos are pretty much what you need to counter stupid ground holds. There's a 30 second cooldoen on same-type item usage anyway. Are you sure it wasn't an engy or medic you wre fighting? Their abilities can keep them alive hilariosly well.
One thing that may be unfair--I don't know if Feds have a hypo vendor: I can't find one with my fed alt.

what im trying to say is items in general, a limit on how many items you can use, not on a certain type of item. The enemy way useing differnt items so the cooldown didnt matter:mad: and he kept healing himself

Hypos have 30 seconds cd, if you together with another guy can't manage to kill one single guy in a timespan of 30 seconds, it propably was either a medic or you two have to work on your gameplay.
Either way the cooldowns on items are fine now, if anything the cds for energy cells should be decreased and decoupled from the other two.

I guess I'm just disagreeing with you that that's a problem. You should've been able to outdamage his hypo use and shield regen. Try to get more exposes is all I can say. Interrupt his action with knockback if possible. And if the guy isn't *dealing* a lot of damage while you're shooting him, he's probably either a medic or shield regen engineer; being hard to kill is kind of their shtick.

This is an old MMO complaint. Reference the term "pot chugger."
The cool downs are fine. A hypo every 30 seconds isn't going to turn you into a tank.... only when used with other kit abilities, as has been mentioned in other replies. Hypos are pretty much for those "oh ****" moments.

Its a "Klingon" issue because the Fed player didn't enjoy his gameplay. What a silly question.:p

I keep saying this is a issue for both sides. However this is a little more of a issue for klingons because since feds use a lot of items in PVE they are less likely to use a ton in PVP but since Klingons have no PVE they use all there items in PVP(like what I said before about 2 feds fighting a klingon who used a ton of differnt items so the cooldown didnt matter, and we couldnt beat him so he was cheing losseing, and the klingons lately in ground have been beating the feds a lot more in lower ranks than fair and im talking about almost every game. So this is a issue for both sides but a little more on klingons, so dont go saying I made this because I lost 1 game:mad:

I understand your original post (read very carefully the part I quoted) to be asserting two things:
1) Klingons are abusing hypos.
2) Klingons have the upper hand in ground PvP.
And to whoever that Klingon was who could tank it 2v1---I have to say, thank you for representing the empire.

Yeah, did I hear him say "them people"?
Seriously, it's not cheating if it's a built in game mechanic. Maybe a game mechanic can be abused, but that still wouldn't be cheating. Perhaps the OP should chose his words more carefully.

LOL tell that to SKY, the Fed who kicked my TRIBBLE 18 times in a ground FvK game.
I don't see the issue, only a complainer who didn't enjoy his gameplay. If you don't like it, get more items for yourself.
I do find it funny that your kilingon with the infinite items didn't suffer the CD's that effect all items like heals, power ups and shield buffs uiniversally. When I click a heal, the Cd effects all the other items my toon has, so why didn't this Klingon have the same problem?
Maybe its because of cloaking technology? That seems to be the ol'Fed whine that works for every situation.

1) All ground devices share a cooldown, which makes it impossible to spam them.
2) Hypos were modified a few patches ago so they cure stun/hold effects. Not being able to use them while held would be kind of pointless.
3) There are other ways to heal (medic kits, some engineer kits for shield heals, even a tactical kit at higher tiers; some pieces of armour grant a small health regeneration; etc), which is what you may have been seeing.
The Klingon player also likely had good equipment for his level, skill points in ground combat, and made the most of his abilities.
I'm struggling to see why you think a maximum limit on device usage is required, since hypos etc are not in any way overpowered in my opinion.

There also is one on the SOL station, so no difference there either.
