I cant play anymore, I quit

I've played the game since it launched. I loved the oncept, the idea of being Captain, having my own ship, my own crew. But you know what, after trying to complete the Infected for 3 hours today I give up.

The games not what I hoped it would be, it's not finished, and despite my fanboyism that caused me to play it for all this time it's not what it should be.

It's missing so many things right now and with no reason to believ they are on the horizon there's no point staying.

There are no functional ship interiors.
There is no use for virtually every bit of anamalous data you collect, memory alpha is awful.
Your crew are completely lifeless with no personality of their own, you don't feel like you care about them at all.
There is virtually no voice acting save the hologram in the tutorial, and a couple of token borg quotes, this makes you feel like there is no immersion.
It's still too combat heavy, even in the so called exploration of clusters.
There are virtually no diplomatic missions.
No first contact missions.
Nothing to do when you reach RA 5, apart from the STF missions which are stupidly hard and stupidly long to do.

Theres just no reason for me to keep playing is there? Especially when I have to keep sheeling out each month, if it was a free online service then i'd probably leave it installed, but as it is.......

Anyway, i just wanted to say i'm really disappointed after looking forward to this for so long, and it's only my love for Star Trek that has kept me playing this long. But it's not finished, and i'm not surprised that the numbers are dwindling.

Come back in about 6 months. All the things you want will be here then. Oh and "I quit" threads are banned.

Thank you for the feedback, and extra thanks for putting it in the appropriate forum!

Have a great time, and I hope to see you again in the future. :)
