1 Raise the cap level so people who are have reached RA5 have somthing to do instead of the
Daft repeatable endgame missions ( or ateast give us the choice if we do these missions with a group or our own crew )
Dont make purple rewards avilable for doing PVP becuase no one is doing PVP anymore so getting these rewards are impossible .
give us professions like in other MMos so that we can craft our own weap\ons ships etc .
2: make the missions interesting and immersive ( dont keep giving us silly dailys that are exactly the same mission same planet etc and occasionally throw in a few alian s just to try and fool us that its a bit different than the other 2 planets
3 Stop with the Cstore nonsense and give these items out as quest rewards . or crafting blueprints
4 give us some decent quests instead of rescue a few crew members , find a computer then another computer then a another computer , scan the anomoly etc .
5 Basically listen to your paying customers and do somthing for them instead of silly things like a difficulty slider ( i mean cmon guys this idea belongs in a non online game like mass effect of something )
if you want this game to survive then stop messing us about and do somthing about the drop of of players .
seems to me that the immagination of your dev team is seriouly lacking if you think players will put up with this kind of nonsense ( look waht happend to the playerbase of SWG when sony got there hands on it )

Cryptic is listening to their paying customers. Difficulty sliders were requested due to how friggin easy normal mode is, that's why it's in the game, and as mentioned above, most of the other stuff being asked for is coming season 2; including Klingon content.

Effing hell, EVE is releasing an expansion for planetary play finally, and guess what I won't have to pay d*ck for it except the normal monthly fee.
The C-Store is making me angrier and angrier every passing day. If it were a physical object it would be covered in eggs and graffiti. I will never buy anything from it, that's a friggen promise. This is the only MMO I have ever played in my whole stinking life that does this sort of TRIBBLE AND charges a monthly fee. Freakin' hell, I get more out of DDO which makes all its money off items than I do from this game, and I play that for fricken free.

They're currently working on improving the crafting system, it's on the test server now. And they've said they'll be adding more to it later. Currently, with this crafting system you can modify and improve base weapons. You can't make your own ships though, because CBS has a tight lock on the IP. That's why the Nomad ship skin isn't in game yet, because it wasn't approved by CBS.

I agree with you that the missions need to become more complex and interesting.
3 Stop with the Cstore nonsense and give these items out as quest rewards . or crafting blueprints
Whether I agree with you or not doesn't matter, this is never going to happen. The C-Store is part of their business plan, no amount of posting on the forums is going to change that. You might as well ask for the Sun to start rising in the west.
4 give us some decent quests instead of rescue a few crew members , find a computer then another computer then a another computer , scan the anomoly etc .
This is the same as two above, and I still agree with you on this.
5 Basically listen to your paying customers and do somthing for them instead of silly things like a difficulty slider ( i mean cmon guys this idea belongs in a non online game like mass effect of something )
The difficulty slider is in game because a lot of paying customers asked for it. And despite Cryptic's original plan of having a death penalty (excuse me, I mean "injury system") on all three of the difficulty settings, they changed their plan and removed the DP from the Normal setting because we the paying customers asked for it.
if you want this game to survive then stop messing us about and do somthing about the drop of of players .
You mean like adding a "Refer a Friend" program or a "Welcome back Weekend"? Like that kind of something? I agree with you, and I'm fairly certain that Cryptic is too out of touch with reality to do either of those things.
seems to me that the immagination of your dev team is seriouly lacking if you think players will put up with this kind of nonsense ( look waht happend to the playerbase of SWG when sony got there hands on it )

At least one developer has said that a level cap raise is coming in Season 2.
Said purple rewards are also available in PvE. not the decent ones

i canceld my subscription because im fed up with the rubbish content and dont beliieve that even with proposed changes the game will improve
no content ( or if you consider cookie cutter mission content )
Who's living in the dream world, evidence is all over the place. Nearly everything that's going into the game in the next few months came directly from the forums. If you spend any time actually reading the forums instead of belching nonsense you can see it too.

Here's just one example of where the sliders came from, back in Oct. this thread was posted, note the 9th post down by mistformsquirrel. This person doesn't exactly state the words difficulty slider but describes it to a "T".: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=28518&highlight=too+easy

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
Before you go however......
BAI! ICANHAZURSTUFFZ?
And by the way, PVP is not dead... I do my PVP daily every single day on both my RA's.
You know, I am not a fanboi by any stretch, but for christsakes people, lay off the double expresso's and give Cryptic a chance. I remember UO at launch, I remember DAoC at launch, and I remember WoW at launch. None of those games was polished in the first six months.
And as far as the C-Store goes, I have had my issues there, but there isn't anything there that you HAVE to have to play. NOT.ONE.SINGLE.ITEM. The ~only~ thing I disagree with is having to pay cash for a character rename. I think you should be able to quest (albiet a long chain) to get anyting in the c-store, but there is not a single thing there you HAVE to have. Even a respec you can buy for 20,000 merit points.

considering you have been upset about STO since the beginning, about trivialities. I will back your decision, with every fiber of my being.
I'm sorry that you have had so many problems in this game, but you are fortunate that you have learned a well known fact (that the first several months after MMO game is released are a tad rocky). EQ, SWG, EQ2, WOW, Vanguard, Aion, AOC, Anarchy Online, to name a few.
I wish you well in your endeavors.
We hope to have you back in game when you are ready.

EVE has something far, far worse than the C-Store. Players and corps that make enough in-game ISK can trade it for game time, which means the game is essentially paid for by the new players while the old vets get a free ride.

The problem with raising the level cap as a means of keeping people interested is that it's a losing battle. Everytime the level cap is raised in an MMO not only do you end up with the same issues as people hit the new cap but you invalidate all of the existing level cap content so there is actually LESS to do. i support raising the level cap (since the game was designed with a higher cap) but once that's done I really hope cryptic never raises it again. It makes a lot more sense to keep developing new content at the cap so that older content remains relevant.
Dont make purple rewards avilable for doing PVP becuase no one is doing PVP anymore so getting these rewards are impossible .
FvK PvP is pretty dead (and probably KvK PvP) but FvF PvP is alive and kicking.

Dream World indeed my friend.
You forgot the to mention the Season 2 update is coming very soon
they need to bite the bullet, like alganon and redesign space movement, do away with sector space.
and give us real space. and not instanced stuff.
