If the lower right hand corner states "Account Error, contact Billing support" you need to manually activate the demo for your account at http://www.startrekonline.com/user/free_demo_start/Cryptic This seems to be the most common problem plaguing the demo this weekend.
P.S. Before starting a new thread, it might be good to glance at the 4-5 threads in the 10 below this one (at the time of this edit) talking of similar issues and the remedies.
it says at the site the demo trial is undergoing sweeping changes and is down for now. I wish they would give a timeframe of what that might be. A few days or a month or more?
