Does anyone know if life time members receive these gifts automatically?

Yup they do. When the appropriate amount of time passes, of course.

So where are these at exactly? I figured I'd login and already have vetrewards being subbed since the headstart program. Didn't they officially add this program on the 8th? Or does the vet time start calculating from the 8th and on?

I know when vet rewards were added to coh they counted launch time even though they were added much later.

you would find them in the C-store. kind of like where you get the pre-order bonus. ( at least that's my best guess. )

The last official word I'd heard was that they had not decided what start date to use. The day the game went live is the obvious answer, but they're giving thought to using the date of headstart or possibly the day that Lifetime Subscriptions went on sale as starting dates. I imagine we won't get an update on that until after the weekend.

I hope this will be a long life, any prospering is a bonus. Good things comes most steadily when they're guaranteed. ;)

I'm guessing we will get some kind of overview at the account management screen somewhere, tracking time etc. When they have found a time to track as it were.

According to the email they sent announcing them, the first Vet rewards will be available by the end of May. They'll be given to whomever has 100 days by that point.

The beginning of the hundred days is the date your subscription started or February 2, 2010, whichever happened second.

They did say they would be available at the end of may. For those who joined on opening day, 100 days is May 13.

Side question relating to the OP's question:

Does it have to be consecutive days? For instance... I lapsed for 1 day between renewing my subscription. Does that reset the entire process or does it pick back up from my last paid day?

If its like any other MMO that has this system your time is saved to your account, so in your case you will get ya gear on the 14th.

There's a \command in game to see your game timer but I cant remember what it is

/played shows how much time that particular character has spent logged in.

TTBOMK, there is no /command that shows how long one's account has been active. ISTR that they intend to put that on the "My Account" page.

They did say they would come late May and that all awards would be backdated. They didn't say it would be the 13th. Also, I think this is 100 days of account existence, not 100 days of playing.

How likely is it that 100 days means calender time instead of 100 days of playing the game?
