Save Uniform separately, and Ship's Uniform

Please, please, please, let us save JUST the uniform design, with no connection to the form underneath it.

That way we could create a "Ship's Uniform" that we could easily apply to all BOffs.

Then, if you're feeling generous, add a "Ship's Uniform" option to our ships where we can design or load the crew uniform and have it automatically applied to Security Personnel and any other crew members we see on our our ships.

We could apply the Ship's Uniform when we first commission a BOff, or we could give a BOff a different uniform, if desired.

I completely agree with this. It would also be very helpful for fleets. Also when we have ship interiors we could apply that uniform to the entire crew so they don't walk around in the standard uniform that Cryptic has set up.

I approve of this idea. It's a pain in the neck to try and get all your bridge BO's to match a design you've made on your main character if you have to remake each and every single uniform to match the color scheme your trying for.

Yes I agree. All you would need to do is have a tac male + female uni, eng male + female uni, and a sci male + female uni.

I really do wish bodies were saved separately from uniforms. As it is I'm worried that if I make a change to my 'on duty' features I can't transfer them exactly to my 'off duty' uniform.

Actually I've tested this out and it works. I changed my body features for my on duty uniform and saved it.Then I went to the off duty uniform and loaded it. It loaded all my body features and chose some random off duty outfit. I went to the outfit screen, clicked Reset, and my original off duty outfit was back and on top of my new body options.

You can load an on-duty savefile to off-duty (and vice versa), it'll just ignore the invalid uniform selections.

I agree that separate saves would be wonderful though.

Oh they must have changed that from when I first tested it on Tribble. Save files were only visible when on the correct type of uniform. Been reluctant to make off duty outfits on live until I was sure I never planned to change my face again.

Glad they did change that then. I can deal with invalid costume pieces part.

I agree. I would also like to set what stances/actions my random crewmembers have. I'd also like to influence their race and gender. Total customization.
