Missing SP?

I'm exploring the Rolar Nebula and I noticed that when I complete some missions I get SP and when I complete others I don't. Does the type of mission determine whether you get SP?

can't help you. I'm there right now and have no problems as yet ( that I have noticed, I've had a few beers and we have voted for our new parliament in the UK today so i'm watching the results at 3:20am so i could be missing all manner of details ;))

Another question as well, do we all see the "anomalies" or are the ones I see not the ones anyone else sees?

The "scan five anomalies" missions don't give XP. I can't remember if the ground version is the same.

if you are in the same zone as me then you see the same spawns. Once I take it it has gone for both f us and you must wait for it to return and finds another. When you find an 'explore' mission then it's just a randomly generated cookie cutter mission so we can't say we would do the same mission from the same node.

i think it's working as intended, i've noted that i get sp in some cluster missions and none in others but i've never really bothered to note which ones though i think it's the cakewalks like scanning a bunch of anomolies in space or on ground that don't net you anything except a completed part added into your explore mission.

and i'm fairly sure everyone sees anomalies, again i've never really given it much thought.

It wasn't a bother, I just now noticed. I prefer to do as much leveling up as I can in the exploration missions to make sure I always have access to episodes when I want.

I am pretty sure that everyone sees the same anomalies. Which is why it boggles my mind when people want to see 50 people in the same exploration cluster. We start running out of anomalies to scan for missions with five other people, and they want ten times that?

The only missions I've confirmed that you don't get xp on is the "scan five anomalies" space missions. I think that is because you get the artifacts. Scan ground missions do net xp.

Mission XP does seem to be dependent on something. I've done some missions where I scan items on a planet where I've gained XP and some where I haven't. Whether or not there are enemies present doesn't appear to be a factor.

Every mission I've had where I fight someone has always netted xp. The only one's I've seen that haven't are the "artifact" space missions. I guess the artifacts themselves are the reward.
