minor injuries not disappearing

Hi, Ijust wonder if anyone else has this problem - I thought minor injuries were meant to disappear after 30 minutes, but even after several hours of gameplay although the graphic disappears, my ship still shows as damaged when pressing the u menu.

Is this a known issue, and does anyone know if it's a 'real' bug or just a graphics/text issue?

Many thanks

Jo

    It's a bug that was reported some time ago. It still exists on the current build on Tribble test server.

    I'd suggest putting in a bug report in-game and then add your name to the thread in the Gameplay Bug forum:

    And thus begins the problems with the forced Death Penalty.

    wait they're sopose to disappear? o.O;
    boo Dx that's icky!!! >_< -flails- i want my ships minorly dmged until i either a) repair them with the proper components (minor repair comonents) or b) repair at a shipyard.

    i'll also settle for an automatic repair as long as i have that component in my inventory, and it's removed appon repair. ( basicly same thing as pushing the repair button only the button is automaticly pushed for me after a preset time )

    Its not forced. If you are playing in normal mode there is no death penalty.

    No, from what I hear, they're still there, but they don't appear as much unlike on the higher levels.

    But on normal mode its almost impossible to die, and when you do the odds of getting an injury (if it is even possible) are extremely low, essentially making it non-existent.

    Compare that to Advanced mode where almost every time you die you get some sort of injury.

    I've died once or twice in normal mode after the death penalty was introduced and never got an injury. On advanced mode nearly every time I die I get a new injury.

    I've played on all three difficulty levels and haven't received injuries on Normal since they adjusted it on Tribble. I think you've heard the wrong things. If someone did encounter an injury on Normal it was a bug.

    Well, that's what I heard, I haven't played in a while since I'm waiting for them to add the Caiitians in, so they might've edited it a bit or something.
