Nimoy ftw

Hello all.

Like me, many of you (perhaps) simply adore Mr.Nimoy when he does his "intro" for the new sectors which you enter.

Now, I would LOVE to hear those "intro's" again - or everytime I re-enter a sector which I've been in before.:p

Does anyone know how to activate that or has it not been made avalible yet?

I don't think it has. I guess you could start a new character, and hear them all except the Borg one.

It's a shame Mister Nimoy recently retired from acting, and probably won't be doing one for any future sectors that are released.

I don't know of any way to hear them again, but I can tell you that I would not like to hear them every time I enter a sector. I am sorry that would just drive me nuts lol. Maybe Cryptic will do something so those who want to hear it again will be able to.

I doubt it would be too terribly hard for Cryptic to add an option for this.

I doubt it would be hard for one person to take an hour or so and convert all the relevant files into mp3 format, and put a download link on the website.

They put a written transcript of Spock's lines into your Captain's Log when you first hear them. If nothing else, adding a 'replay' button on those entries would be nifty.

Are they not just under the games directory somewhere, probably just as .wav files or similar?

They are hidden in the hogg files, and unless/until some intrepid player introduces a hogg reader they will remain there. I loved digging thru the .tre files in SWG, all kinds of cool stuff in there to play around with.
