Ship listings still only show Fed ships.. 3 months later.. still fail.
Timeline STILL incomplete... 3 months later.. still fail.

1 year subscription.. looks like i'm the biggest fail.

ACT like you care about the players and not your bottom line only. It may help getting new customers and retaining old ones.

someone is doing the timeline now and an update is coming soon and they are adding more ships to the listing, every time i check it a few more are added

does the lack of stuff on the website hamper your enjoyment in game. i know its looks a little annoying but they only have so much time in the day. would you prefer they got the website finished sooner and neglect something else?

lies. no timeline update since release

I'd prefer the game was finished before they released. But hey, with apologists and enablers like you, Cryptic can take ALLLLLL the time they like.

The timeline is complete. If you want to read the full and complete timeline, which links the current state of the game alllllll the way back to Nemesis ...

You have to buy the novel.

Exactly. Ridiculous thread gets ridiculous response.

Isn't Champion spelled with an H, or did I miss something obvious? Perhaps the OP's forum handle is unfinished. Wouldn't that be ironic.

If people started to be less negative about stuff. And start posting usefull things for people who make games, programs and movies. Maybe then they feel more motivated to do things we want.

Becuase aslong people keep posting this bad that bad this is terrible stuff.

HOW do you think they can get anything done or fixed around here.

A thought: Leonardo da Vinci always considered The Last Supper unfinished.

Granted, this ain't no Last Supper, but lots of art is always a work in progress. Some thing with a lot of things, like buildings or road construction.

Case in point: most MMOs are never finished, because stuff keeps getting added to them. I don't think WoW, CoH, or CO will be finished until they pull the plug from the servers.

There's some philosophical food for thought.

Not to side with Campion, but it is a name of a British TV detective and an English Poet/songwriter. It is also used in making victory garlands for winners of sporting competitions; a type of plant.

Just stating a possible fact. Not sure if he intentionally mispelt the name or meant it as that.

    Of course it's not finished.

Da Vinci interrupted and wanted them to pose for awhile, and their dinner got cold.

That's no fair. You can't fight a person in a battle of wits if they're unarmed. It's just one-sided.

    Food for thought:

Ultima Online, the first MMORPG, issued an update in September with new skills. Some people felt those skills should have been in at launch, because they wanted them. Launch was 13 years ago.

The writer who handles the timeline and web updates really wants to update those features - but we keep telling her that she has to keep writing more episodes instead :)

Hopefully she'll get ahead on the episode content and have some extra time to update those soon.

I think the OP has a point though.

The website should have been done before the game launched. How long does it take to fill in the ship listing? I'll tell you. Less than one man-day (one person working 8 hours or less). I used to work in web design, it's pretty basic stuff. Not hard in the least, and not time consuming either. It's insignificant compared to the amount of man-hours they have put into...well, honestly I can't see a whole helluva lot they have put much work into, but yeah.

I see this as endemic of the half-assed way they have handled the entire affair. Everything is half-done. Half-efforts are blatantly apparent throughout the experience. Nothing is finished, nothing is polished even slightly.

The game is unfinished, pure and simple. The website is just an obvious example of that.

Wait, some of those ships weren't available at launch were they? Like the Trident?

So, you're of the opinion that they should have had the web listings for the ships up before some of them had their designs final approval from CBS, and that the content should have been posted before CBS approved it?

This for a ship listings format that changed after launch? BTW, some of those ships weren't even named before launch.
