Idea For Crafting And Powers

My idea is to add Playable Trading Cards(or whatever you want to call them).A single card could be played before each match or mission for space. For ground missions; play the card before you beam down or enter match. the card could be bonuses, boost, or special powers. With this system, they could add things in to the games like for example a card that give + 10 power level boost to engines(i think we all would like to move a little faster). As the card could only be used one per match it would not be overpowering. we could use a crafting system(like memory alpha) to create our own common cards. the more rare and very rare cards would be rewards or drops. i think this idea would be more valuable to us players. I have heard many player ask for special powers like a fed cloak or other items from the shows and movies. this way it could get into the game without it being overpowering. this could also add some surprise to PvP.

In the crafting of the card we could have a lot of ways to customize our cards.(photos, boost,naming them,and so on)
Some more ideas for cards are

SPACE

+10 power level boost to engines
+10 power level boost to weapons
+10 power level boost to aux
+10 power level boost to shields
1000 to shields
+Regen Power to shields
resist to " " weapons
resist to " " damage
+ in dps
a special BO ( rare)
Fed Cloak (Very Rare)

Ground

Boost in speed
+ in DPS
A BO in a class you are not
+ in Shields
+ in Armor
Resists


it is endless what we can come up with.

    And would you tweak the idea some?
    i know it is not perfect, but i think is better than what we have now.
    what card would you add?

    If people do not like the card idea; how about creating devices that we use like the batteries. it would have a duration and a cool down slot. Still we could get these items into the game. we need lot more items to craft.

    and, honestly, you can accomplish the same thing by rotating your consoles and Bridge Officers/Away Team depending on the mission.

    I would definitely like to see some ability to customize our ships or equipment via crafting. As it is, I'm at a loss as to why Cryptic didn't go that route in the first place. Trading anomalies in for schematics and components that could be combined to build one-time use items or improvements to regular equipment would be really, really awesome.

    it would not be that difficult . lets say we use them are equipment or devices. it would be no harder to code then a battery(which boost power).
