Gold Edition Map

I just checked my tickets and I got a CS reply to this one, and it said to post about it in the forums... so I guess I will :)
Since the map was released as part of the Gold edition (or maybe other editions as well) it's changed quite a lot. Would it be possible to download the image currently being used in game?
Either as a .swf or .jpg/.png would be really helpful for people to find their own way around. If you use the flash swf file you could also add a map key so you could toggle all systems or starbases things like that. I think this could help quite a lot of people and I hope you consider my request.

Basically I've got this map on my wall and so far it's helped me a great deal in the opening few weeks and still does to this day, so I think it might help more people - especially if there is an updated version featuring all the new locations. So yeah... discuss :)

    You want it printable?

Would you be willing to go to a digital-print place (Kinkos, Alpha Graphics, whoever) and pay to print a file?

if so... I suggest you pring Suricata's star chart!

I was just thinking something on the website we could download then if we wished we coud print off a copy or something.
The flash version would be the same but with all systems only bein displayed when you rollover their locations or something, uch as if you click on the sector block it takes you to the 'local' view of that, then clicking on the planets would give you more information in a libraruy format, just adding a bit of story to it as well as being helpful.

that chart is not up to date either.

If you're interested, I've actually used this website to great effect in the past in making my own posters.

You input an image, and it gives you a series of PDF files to print out!

Great site, thanks for that, but I still feel the SWF idea would be best
