Lost Product Key

Totally lost, don't remember where I downloaded it from, and apperently I deleted the email, but isnt the key binded to account? Had to reformat cause I got a new MOBO and processor, so checking the registry is out of the question. Help :[

    You only need the key for registering your copy on the STO website. Once that is done, that's it. You don't need it any longer. Just reinstall STO and use your login / password to get back into the game.

    I have just buyed a Star trek online key but somehow I lost it can you help i dont have any money left to buy another

    what shuold i do?

    Contact the merchant you bought it from.

    Actually, as long as you remember your Account Name and Password, there's nothing that you need to do, as the Key is bound to the Account...

    When reinstalling STO, when it brings up the Web Page asking for the Product Key, just ignore and close the window, and the install will continue on its merry way. Just use the correct Account Name and Password after installing to access the Account (with key already registered and included)

    i just downloaded STO from the website but i dont have a STO CD product key would i still be able to play the game as Free To Play or did i waste memory space downloading the game?

    Hey carlvelleri,

    Two things for you:
    1. Responding to threads which have not been active for more than 30 days is against the rules of the forum. Next time, please start up a new thread.
    2. You will be able to play STO for free after January 17th, when the game becomes available for free to play.
