Random end game missions idea?

Just a thought but we have random missions in the game in the exploration clusters but they are quite basic and small but would it be possible to make some long random missions for end game?

Make them very long, around 2, 3, maybe 4 hours to complete. (break it down into sections so people can do them in stages if needs be.)

Because the missions are random it will encourage people to try them multiple times. They will of course be much more generic than an actual storyline or task force but i doubt that many people pay attention to the stories in the task force as they are more worried about the 4 people they are with, so wont take their time as much as when they solo.

The important thing is to make them for both casual and hardcore players.

Use three difficulty settings that have to be chosen by the player or group leader before going in.
Normal will be very casual for solo players or very casual groups.
Advanced being much tougher and recommended for a two or three players.
Elite would be similar to the task forces needing a full team of five to stand any chance for those that like a challenge.
perhaps tie the re-spawn rates into the difficulty.

As its random some could be all space, some all ground and some a mixture. Some could have non combat elements to break up the action.

Add some unique items for rewards that can not be acquired anywhere else in the game, getting better the higher the difficulty.
