Just a suggestion. Probably a lot of people may not know what a South Paw is. Its a lefty. A left handed person.
There are even south paws in the Star Trek universe. Most notably Data (written to be ambidextrous, in the show it shows him only favoring his left hand and doing everything left handed since Brent Spiner is a south paw), Tuvak, and Ezri Dax are left handed.
Why dont we have an option to hold weapons and operate terminals left handed? Just think it would be neat. Being that Im left handed and it always looks weird for me to see myself running around with a sniper riffle alf hass backwards (from my perspective).
I know it probably would take some work to change the animations for a left handed option. Just would be nice to see this eventually.
If any dev's notice this. Thanks.
Comments
notice all games where your holding a weapon it is right handed
Fact- Obama- Left handed
Fact- Clinton - Left Handed
Fact- Me- left handed
Fact- and we all went to ivy lieague schools and were president except for the me part
the evidence is clear
Every time, it's "we coded it only right handed because the majority blah, blah, blah, and now it would be such an effort to do all the animations for lefties blah, blah, blah"
Nearly 10 years later and it's the same old same old. I guess 10% of the population is perma-screwed.
Of course, if it was a minority skin tone that was passed over every time...whoa there would be major problems.
and tools, and games, and key board controls tend to favor a right hander as well
- a left handed champion gamer is 10 times better than a right handed champion gamer because the lefties are working at a pvp disadvantage
the evidence is clear- Left handed pvp master of the eternal now- right handed players need an advantage
South Paw is slang used to refer to a left handed person. Its used a lot in sports and music. Even how the brackets are on snow boards or how you stand on a skate board (standard, goofy foot and south paw), same thing with surf boards. I even have some tools that have South Paw imprinted on them. And a can opener that says South Paw on it.
In fighting or at least boxing.. You can be a South paw but have a traditional or unorthodox stance. Blah blah blah. Its just a title. When someone says south paw you know what they are. You can skip over left handed in standard speech.
Left Handed is South paw and South Paw is left handed. Same meaning. Its not like I want the option "South Paw" in the game. Its just what I refer to myself as and have been refereed to as.
And I fought back in baseball about batting lefty in little league. And playing the guitar. I tend to write ambidextrous but thats because I have had either hand and arms in casts for long periods of time and have had to develop that skill for business.
