The Royal Air Force is a great gathering of some of the best pilots in the world!!!!

Good question. Hopefully they tracked that info. In champions they gave out buddy keys and refer-a-friend bonuses at the same time. Would be the fair thing to do.
Tuskeegee Airmen = never lost a bomber that they escorted in thier entire WW2 career.
wikipedia disagrees, but that probably just means you are correct:
"the 463rd Bomb Group, one of the many B-17 groups the 332nd were escorting, lost two bombers"

Fighter escorts turned back before the bombers got all the way because of fuel. Losses after the fighters separate away are not counted. Losses due to flak are also not counted as there really is nothing a fighter can do to stop that. The only option is to fly into the flak first, which just makes more flak to fowl up a bomber something nasty.
I was actually just wondering the same thing. I picked up the CE the other day from Game Stop and was wondering how that would affect the bonus keys in the box.
It would be cool if we were able to apply them to our own accounts for bonus Game Time or C-Store Points.

I'll check, but wikipedia is hardly a reliable source since none of the entries are required to be checked for accuracy. All I know is that pilots would request them as escorts because of thier (near) perfect record of mission success.
Back on topic, this isn't really a referral program.
It's an inducement to get people to pay for 5 accounts for 1 month to get the rewards. There will no doubt be some people who will do this. It will make Cryptic some quick cash AND create a (fake) subscriber spike.
Good thing I hate the Galaxy class ship and hate the 3 nacelle one even more. Had they done this with a Constitution, yes, I admit I am such a pathetic geek and fan of that ship design that I would have probably opened 5 accounts for one month just to have a Tier 5 one.
What was the name of that silly TNG flight demonstration team that Wesley Crusher was in when he went to the SF Academy?
The great "look how we fck ourselves over, not only once, but thrice!"
1.) Killing s squad mate with a high risk maneuver
2.) Trying to cover it up.
3.) Relying on bloody Wesley to do it.
But hey, that Locarno guy was later reincarnated into Tom Paris, and got to hump that klink chic.
A halfway decent progression, this troper would think...

Why is it bad for Cryptic to want their own?
Blue Angels > RAF
Red Angels > Blue Angels

The 332nd lost 25 bombers. Which is still a decent figure.

They got disbanded after attempting to perform an extremely dangerous and prohibited maneuver called the Kolvoord Starburst.
The Tuskegee Airmen didn't lose a bomber to enemy aircraft... if I recall correctly. Flak may be a different story.
