Cryptic up until late last year had been posting Path To 2409 updates regularly then they stopped at 2394 without anymore updates, now I know there is a book thats just been released but why was the path to 2409 stopped, thats what I want to know.

While they're at it they could actually complete the ship database.

That would also be nice. But back to what I was saying, We get some idea of what has happened from 2392 to 2409 in the load screen stuff in game but its no where near complete and I would love to know more details as to what happened between then and now.

CBS disapproved of the timeline so they dropped it.

    ...

Not really, but see how easy it is to name drop CBS as an excuse?

They summed up the rest of the timeline updates in two videos.

It still ain't all the info, well I guess this is just another one of those things Cryptic went half assed on in the end.

Looking at the infomation on the new faction being worked on it is logical to suggest that the Klingon and Fed war is not going to be the focus it was pre-launch. The game seems to have changed direction. This may be part of the reason for the timeline's being stopped.

You mean with people objecting to all out war and pew pew, and diplomacy being screamed for since closed beta, they may be taking the game in another direction??

    Gasp!
