How do I get credit for recruiting players to Star Trek Online?

I believe such a reward scheme starts on May 11.

You get credit by how greatful your friends will be that you introduced them to an amazing game...

It will most likely be through referral links, the bread and butter of online "credit for recruiting" systems.

I'm what the government used instead of water-boarding. But you can't tell anyone. I have stories from Kuwait that will curl your dainty toes.

Sorry to interrupt with a serious question. I invited a friend with a buddy code, she bought the game last month. I have no other buddy codes, so will I get anything for recruiting her, or does that only go for players joining after that program is live?

I got a friend that normally buys one or two single player games a month and wants to play a less stressful MMO while he takes a break from high end raiding in WoW... so I am probably going to get him in here when season 2 comes out... but referring someone is definitely explaining what the game is like and then taking time to play with them... playing with someone always make it better and more enjoyable...
