What about the 100 new bugs that were introduced? There are some real show-stopping bugs that came with 1.1

Like what? I've not come across any show stoppers.

Yeah but keep in mind the patch JUST came out. I remember many patches in other MMOs that brought the servers down all day... or F'd up character models. Yes there are plenty of bugs with this patch but they will be fixed very soon I'm sure.

I would also like to say that I'm very pleased with this patch. WELL DONE CRYPTIC DEVS!!
    And Thanks :)

Lets see (Besides listing to 500 new complaints on the feedback and issue forum) I have gotton stuck in a PVP mission and GM had to get me out. I have stopped receiving rewards for doing exploration content on my klink, I have somehow lost all my respecs I bought in the c-store after 1.1 was patched and on 4 occasions my ship has magically went from 100% health to insta pop in under 3 second on a 1v1 PVE in a carrier...

there where a few minor issues and a couple of biggies in the pvp and respec not updating. todays patch fixed that. not the end of the world

there will always be bugs, but most are very small. certainly not show stoppers

does not detract from the fact 1.1 is a big improvment

    Yeah it just came out.
It's not like they have some kind of test server to debug this stuff before it goes live or anything.
    Oh wait lol.

Your talking about the desolate, hardly used Test Server right?

Things cant be fixed if they arent identified.

You can test a patch for months and still not find even the large show-stopper bugs. People who genuinely test are trying to break stuff, and when you think that way, you tend to miss some of the "no-brainer" things that players do as part of their normal gameplay.

Bugs inevitably get through, sometimes even very large ones. Just be patient and give Cryptic some time to squash them or call in an exterminator. They will get fixed, and the game will go on with or without all the whining and drama associated with these forums.

It's also worth noting that I've never seen any company patch issues faster than Cryptic. They really are on top of patch-release bugs. I come from SWG where there are still bugs from when the game released over 6 years ago - I can't say that about this game at all, though I imagine someone else might. Fact is, though, Cryptic fixes these things as fast as humanly possible, as long as they are notified about them.

The respecs worked fine on test. That bug happened in transit. Don't blame the testers for bugs they don't even experience because it wasn't on test that way.
