I launch the game, and it starts to load, then I get the 'oops ... ' crash dialog and ask me to fill it out. This is not the first time it has happened, its right after a patch you release, this is the 3rd time I have encountered this. The game will not load no mater what I do. I come back a few days later and the game works fine. I'm not running anything differently then I have before when the game did work, no hardware change, no settings, nothing. This is getting very aggravating, I cant play at all.
EDIT:
Dont know what it will do, game worked before, but ok:
Posted DXDiag
EDIT:
Just tried again, and got this ticket number: 6071784

==================================
To me thise seems like bs, the game works, has worked, but the past 3 patches, right after it dose not. I want a better responce than the copout that I need a better video card. I WANT TECH SUPPORT!! Not some prescripted response. It only gives me issues after the patches, and it only had been recent, the previous 3 patches. My card is is a ATI Radeon HD 4350.
Better is always great, but thats not the point. The game worked great untill the patches, the game worked with my card unless I turned all the setting all the way up, then its just jumpy. I should not have to shell out for an issue on thir end.
Just because an unsupported video card worked in the past does not mean it will work in the future. The patches upgrade the game both with content and visual effects hence it is logical that at some point a unsupported piece of hardware would no longer be sufficient after awhile.
True, but after a few days of the patch and of not playing, it worked, atleast after the first 2 patches this started, it has not been a few days scince the recent one. So I dont think this is the issue.

i see what you are saying, but often we can get games to work on specs lower than recommended, but thats just a bit of luck and probably companies allowingn a little leeway for the min specs.
But if your card does not meet the specs regardless of whether it worked before the patch, unfortunately the ball is in your court e.i. you need a better card. Now if your card was oven equal to the mininum specs it might be a different case...
I don't know what part of the spec that card doesn't meet. If you look up the HD 4300 series on AMD.com
it's almost identical to the HD 3850.
Unfortunately, tech support costs Cryptic money. Given they pulled live billing support they must not have enough or want to keep what they have. It's easier for them to simply look at your card and say, "not supported".
You very well could have found a good, legitimate bug that they should investigate. The problem is they're still developing the game while people are playing it. I've seen a ton of UI changes/updates that should have been done long before they shipped. I could go on for hours about Agile/Iterative development and how it's prone to creating buggy software.
The bottom line is you need to wallet up and upgrade. I'm sure you can find a better/cheap video card on Craigslist.

No offense but from what i can read they are not that close. The HD4350 has only 80 stream processing units and the HD3850 has 320 stream processing units. The first does not support Physics processing support the second one does... The first one even if newer has less support.

Prehapes, what upsets me is they bluntly put it at sol shell out more money. their response seemed like a prescripted response that was cut and pasted to me, they closed the ticket and that was it. A runoff of the entire spec list, if its a graphics problem, then give me a list of cards! Can I talk to a live person who trys to seem like they care, and feel for my frustration, and not have a auto generated computer response?
I would suggest you reinstall the game and install it in either the default directory under user or some other directory other than program files. For some reason win7 interferrs with the files permission under the program files directory that the game progarm does not have full access (read write, create delete and modify).
also be sure the launcher and gameclient exe are set to run as admin.
(or set the installer to run as admin and that should work)
ok, ty Ill try that, hopefully that will work. Need to get my copy from my brother, gave him a buddy key, but has yet have time to start playing. I was looking at the ATI HD 3850, its only 256MB of mem, where my ATI HD 4350 has 1 GB, so Its kinda a down grade for me as I see it.
In the Min/Reg specs their are only 2 cards listed, 4 if you count the nVidia cars, it their a list any one knows of that has a list of all the cards that have been tested, and approved of?
update, reinstalled, and it works now. So thanks to you PegasusMD, and thanks to you Cryptic for not helping me, and to just simply to shell out more $$.
