Random Disconnect Issues

Okay. I don't know if there's already a thread for this. But, here's a new one.

I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment Laptop. It goes wirelessly to a Linksys Wireless N Broadband Router. My ISP is Time Warner.

Here's the problem: When playing or updating Star Trek Online, i get disconnected from the STO server at random.

Now, i've contacted Linksys about the Wireless issues i've been having and helped me setup my router manually. I also went as to so far as to update the Firmware of the router.

The problem remains..... Here's what i know.....

This problem only happens wirelessly. Oddly enough, it only happens with this game. How do i know?

When i connect a ethernet cord to my laptop, the disconnect issues disappear. But, i don't want to be bound by an ethernet cord. So, don't tell me that an ethernet cord is my only option. I refuse to believe it. And it only happens with this game because i streamed Netflix in the background. And when i got disconnected from the STO Servers, Netflix was still streaming Star Trek First Contact without any interruption.

And, yes...... I've tried playing without Netflix in the background. Same results.

So, in summary, this is a real puzzler for me right here.

I don't know if it was the last patch or what. But, i need someone to help me out with this problem cause i don't know what else to do. And if Cryptic is paying attention to this post........

HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
